Fair enough...yes, he did say he went for younger good looking women but that this was unsatisfactory since they were at a different stage in their lives. He looked really into Marissa...big time...so I was sad to see it fizzled out. Wonder what went wrong there since she seemed thrilled with him too!

Yeah, they were really lovely, it was a sickly sweet ending to the show, only to find out like 30 seconds later that it didn't last. I'd almost prefer not to know!

Josh's jar of beer was bigger that him!

Quite surprised the fashion blogger and school nurse, didn't work out, maybe one of them was too keen.

Thought that the Irish girl was a real stunner......possibly the best looking date yet. As for the nurse, she was clearly more smitten than he was so I guess he pulled the brake on that relationship.”

I felt a bit sorry for Josh too (although I did get the possibly closeted gay guy vibe off him that others picked up on too). His date should really stop doing that coy, Princess Di head-down-and-to-the-side move as well - it made her chin situation look even worse.

The Irish girl seemed lovely - really pretty, yet down-to-Earth and up for a laugh. Her date seemed too much of a wet blanket for her though.

Like others, I was a little surprised Carl and Marissa didn't go anywhere after two more dates. Although he did seem like he reckoned himself a bit much, and in a few years might realise he made a mistake in letting her slip through his fingers.

I found the older couple a little annoying, especially the woman. It seemed that they got on each other's nerves in the end too, judging by the update!

Don't be so shocked. Good job they didn't get on, if they'd got together and had kids, they would come out looking like Beaker from the Muppets.

Ha...yeah, I remember her! I think she came back pretty soon after the first, initial date wearing clothes she felt comfortable with this time. Can't recall how it worked out - does anyone else remember?

Didn't she have a date with a lad who appreciates boat type girls? They got on well and IIRC met afterwards.

Abby the boat girl, yeah I think they met up afterwards, though it gave the impression that it was just more for sex than anything else. I didn't know what to think of her tbh, I felt sorry for her when her first date rejected her, but the next week then she dismissed him as "a bit boring". Wasn't saying that when she wanted a second date with him was she!

Well she was quite quirky so is apt to find fairly conventional men boring. I am like that too (i.e. of that disposition and mindset!)

That was quite funny. Using the phrase "I'd turn gay for..." would be acceptable on a date, it's a little bit risque but shows an appreciation of male looks, a comfort with ones own sexuality etc etc.
Preceding it with "I would suck off ..." is a little bit more graphic for a first date.

Mystified as to why she's been called Sexy and why FM's are still interested in her.

She has her own quaint, unique style I feel - refreshingly unusual.

Her sob story was a bit thin - years of bullying... they called her "cobweb". Poor lamb.

Well I thought Becca's disability was quite profound re. that blow to the back of her head! It has resulted in her inability to taste or smell food. That must be absolutely horrid.

But you realise that we're not discussing the same person?

Becca was matched with Josh. I make notes as I view the programme. She did also say that she hadn't had a boyfriend for a while which is what you picked up on.

No, Becca (the Irish nurse) was matched with John. She's the one who banged her head. "Cobweb" girl was called Tammi (dark red hair) and was matched with Josh, the slightly camp bananaphobe. I never mentioned her not having had a boyfriend for a while.
