What we see might be the cream of the crop, the ones who don't make the edit, could be sat there in silence or struggling to be civil to each other.
The older the daters, the greater the distance between them.
I'm guessing more sub 30 year olds apply.
IMO someone can grow on you even if there isn't that initial spark, but I think you really need to get on well, to bother seeing them again.
It's a PITA if one person is in the friendzone and the other is trying to get out of it.
I suspect many of those who bow out after a good date, feel the whole process made them a bit giddy, the cameras, the staff, fussing from the crew, when they calm down and look back they're not so impressed with the date.
