My first thought on seeing Lee, the nervous barber was that he seemed gay! Paul, the maths teacher was a bit guarded, lacking in confidence i.e. not outright macho but I found that endearing - not necessarily a gay characteristic I would have thought.

(Just for the record I find gay men delightful for the most part, entertaining, open, lively and I like that they can be effeminate). I regard myself as androgynous.

I too was surprise that he wasn't gay. The tan, the plucked eyebrows and the basic lack of male macho but at the same time dressing like he possessed all the street confidence necessary had me totally confused.

He got the date he deserved........an extremely high maintenance bimbo.

I liked the 3 young women involved, the nervous bloke, maths teacher, Bobby top knot, not so much.
There didn't seem to be an update on the older daters, Bobby's Mum.
They seemed to get on better than I thought, holding hands on the way to the cab.
Jermie and his date was a nice date too, shame there wasn't a spark though.

Maybe it's me, but they seemed to hammer the 'theme' into the ground this week, worse that I can remember.
All those Rubik's cubes around the place and talk of Maths, because of Teacher and his piece to camera 'party piece'

Again too much of the staff and their messing about, get them back to getting mid date reports and chivvying the conversation along between the dates.
They used to be quite good at that IMO.

Yet another programme that has exceeded its "best before" date. Far too much RUBBISH with the staff trying to make themselves stars (seems to have worked with the French show off, it appears!) and far too many "unrealistic" people that they focus on. Come on producers, how about showing us more "real, average" people rather than week in, week out, showing really attractive women and good looking men 80% of the time! A) Its not realistic (most "single people" do NOT look like most of those who appear on the show, each week) and B) very attractive people like them would not need to be searching around going on "blind dates" to find a partner.
Used to look forward to this show but now record it and fast forward through it cutting out all the staff rubbish and pretty boy/girl stuff, hence it normally only takes about 10 mins to watch an episode now!

I still quite enjoy the programme.

Maybe you want to stop assuming that there's sex involved, the voiceover is there mostly to feed us some daft puns, rather than an indicator that the daters have had sex.
'Drinking late into the night' can actually mean drinking and talking without sex that night.

We've had a few pictures and updates of second dates not involving sex, just to hammer the point home.
Voice over: 'He took her up the shard' (fnaar fnaar) and there's the selfie picture of the two of them up the Shard with London in the background.
I can remember another second date that involve a walk in the country, and another selfie shot of the daters.

I always think the women aren't generally that good-looking. I want to see more lookers not fewer. More episodes like this one please!

What an awful episode, fake festivity and really unlikeable couples, the gay pair, how awkward were they?

Not that I expect any of them had much of a possible future! Maybe the gay couple at the end, but not the best episode recently.

Well Christmas specials are usually filmed months ago, certainly wasn't anything special.
A merry christmas from the staff and the successful daters from the series would have done.
They're trying to make a thing of CeCe and the beardy waiter again, I suppose some of the viewers are interested.

Anyway I was pleased to see Mr Moustache and stunning Asian girl were still together.
No clues on the Welsh teacher and her second date/relationship, who I also liked.

As for the daters, wouldn't mind seeing the Turkish bloke and the either of the older daters back again.

The more CiCi and Laura the better, as far as I'm concerned.

Fred and the rest of the lads can pipe down though.

If I was a customer I'd find them rudely intrusive, and as a viewer, I'm not in the slightest bit interested.

I've actually signed up for the show and spoken to someone on the phone from the production company about possibly being on it so fingers crossed I get on it.
