That chick with the awful makeup really embarrassed herself on television, staged or not.

Bugger what happened to my post, try again...
The Front of house staff have added a fair bit of value this series, chivvingy the dates along, didn't work with Cat and Sav though Enjoyed tonight's offerings, they all seemed to get along and willing to meet each other halfway, which is always nice to see. What's wrong with nice people been nice and having a nice time. Cat seems the type that expects the bloke to do all the heavy lifting, if he didn't say anything she'd probably have just taken the pi$$ out of him over dinner an offered buggerall in he way of conversation. Seen this before on things like the Undateables, comments put the onus on the chap to do all the heavy lifting and say the 'right thing' in response to the woman, as if it's completely down to him drive the conversation. |

Does anyone remember a show, about a decade ago on ch4 I think, where they took a shy type typically and had a team of coaches build up their confidence, style and groom them then send them out on various dates?
Can't think what it was called but it was a cracking show and actually did seem to do some good. |

Would like to meet on BBC Two, Tracey Cox??, the Ozzie woman was in it.
Ah, found it http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00d630z It was excruciating watching them embark on their initial, pre advice, dates but by the end of it you were really rooting for them. There were some remarkable transformations. |

Jesus, Cat was so unlikeable.
I've known a few women like her who expect every man worthy of her 'affection' to be perfectly suited to her wants and needs and if they don't that is simply a reflection on them. It's a two-way street woman! You have to expect to accept people's flaws for what they are. And he stayed until the end and paid!!! I would of left the minute she started insulting his dress sense... |

Maybe someone should play back Tim and his date (forgotten her name) and Scott and Natasha, both dates going nowhere afterwards, but the latter had a damn good date and had each other in absolute stitches. |

He took the dress sense thing as banter, so did I, pretty sure she was smirking during some of it, then the rest of her conduct let her down.

"Banter" on clothes and appearance can be saved until further on in the relationship if such a stage is reached. |

He may well have done, but its not something you say to a prospective partner in an atmosphere where every single part of you is being judged by the other person.
"Banter" on clothes and appearance can be saved until further on in the relationship if such a stage is reached. Maybe if people stopped acting out a version of themselves for X number of dates, then doing the reveal, they'd waste less time and energy. He took it as banter, made a couple of jokes about it himself, so it wasn't a problem apart from the fact she didn't seem all that pleasant otherwise. I'm cringing at the Egyptian thing that's coming up next week. |

I love this programme
I thought Frankie was really pretty, I'd love to look like her. I don't see anything wrong with her being flirty, they had SO much sexual chemistry. Totally agree about turtlenecks, I'd have said the same! Not a fan of Sav at all. I thought the beard guy seemed nice and the girl was nice too. |

Always remember that programme because one of the women they were trying to get a date for ended up with one of the filming crew.
It was after the team had done some 'work' on him though he got what he wanted. Would have had a crossover in the last series of First Dates, if one of the dates had his way, he had eyes for someone else's date on another table, rather than his own. |

I'm not liking the input from the wait staff and Maitre D'. I don't want their philosophy on life (the Maitre D' was painful to listen to), I just want to see the dates.
