Just catching up with this, about 15 minutes in.
OK Rajan is trying a little too hard, but Amanda isn't giving back much, one word or very short answers plus laughing at him, no wonder the bloke is desperately filling, filling, filling. She's a music producer, he thought she was and MC, instead of putting him straight and going into a conversation, she lets him hang. Our 62 year old woman from Essex, wasn't much better at the beginning. I must say I've met women who seem to expect the bloke to be furiously working away filling with various subjects/lines/jokes or whatever while they give back little to nothing. Definitely got the feeling 'work you bugger, work, win me over' at times. I'm firmly out of this caper now. I'm still waiting for the lovely Fahye, I think she's lovely, probably the accent though. |

Ohh Grace, she's a bit tidy, and a pressie of expensive choccy's, nice one Chris.
Edit: just seen Rajan with the napkin tucked into his T-shirt. Not sure if he's expecting her to put him right and he's being a bit funny or he's really serious. Either way she's not putting him right, finding Amanda annoying now, really not adding much to this date. If she was held back by nerves it would be a different matter, but she seems OK, just lazy or seriously dislikes Rajan? |

What the hell is 'a city high flyer' as a job description, it's like something out of a tabloid.
It's unlikely that anything Chloe does won't rub me up the wrong way, that accent and my reverse snobbery at work. So I'll ignore her, don't mind Ben though, seems a nice enough chap. |

What language was she speaking ? Could someone tell the mid 1980's their missing yuppie's turned up.
I'm guessing if you watch made in chelsea you'll hear similar accents. |

Chris - Legendary swordsman!
Ben & The Sloane - oh something definitely happened on 'the way home'... ![]() Rajan - I don't think I was supposed to watch every segment he was in from behind a cushion. As he would say ’oh wow'. Am willing to bet money on him having tried out for BB on Ch5, didn't get through and chose this instead so he got on tv at least once this summer At least none of the characters were as disturbing as Will from last week. Loving this show

I've just caught up. Quote:
That Chris could really be scrubbed up to be a very attractive lad

Chris's type would be bound up and locked in a car boot.
The guy from NI looked older than 25. Quite nice though

Sometimes it's a bit frustrating that they don't show enough of some of the dates. The girl seeing Edmund - seemed really keen. I don't know if I am naturally cynical about people appearing on TV though... I thought Rajan seemed a bit of a hoot. Not my type at all but quite funny and his date really should have put some more effort in or at least given him some direction. Ben seems like a nice guy. Surprised he hasn't already been snapped up. |

Surprised he hasn't already been snapped up. Channel 4 used it in voiceover intro to The Family and it irritated me then, not sure who they think their audience is. I thought Rajan was trying to be funny at first, but he came off as very daft in the end and a bit naive. I had more of an issue with his date, found her more and more irritating. Sitting there laughing like an ar$e frankly and not giving anything back to the conversation, Rajan was twisting in the wind. |

Terry Turbo just comes across as too arrogant for me. I mean if he's looking for love as he puts it he shouldn't be wanting a quickie after a first date and to ply the girl with lots of alcohol.

Wine snob woman needs to choke on an oyster. Poor chap - who'd evidently rated himself "quite posh" before this date - looks genuinely terrified!
