I'm not liking the input from the wait staff and Maitre D'. I don't want their philosophy on life (the Maitre D' was painful to listen to), I just want to see the dates.

Don't like the producers "trying" to make stars of the owner and staff of the restaurant, their comments weren't generally relevant or needed in the context of the programme. Also, once again, as in real life, it appears that the cocky, arrogant people (like the first couple) are the ones who get the most coverage and also the most success, whilst the genuine, well mannered and "normal" people don't!. Each to their own I suppose, but arrogance is the biggest turn off in the world to me and I really couldn't watch the first couple after about their first 30 secs!!...talk about being "full of themselves"!!!

The Producers of this series don't understand what they're dealing with. The daters are the stars. We don't need any more than them and a good voiceover to keep it flowing. I don't want to hear what the waitresses, barman and manager have to say, especially as it's so excruciatingly staged. |

I love this show, so glad its back.
I think the dancers were well suited, as she didn't seem ready to settle down anyway. The beard man was very nice, but the beard was too much for me. The short man was so loud, I was cringing at the idea of being on a date with him. |

Some of the dates, they seem to have found too many 'characters'. Mostly the painful staff talk, especially with the Maitre D'.

Old Guardian article. I don't mind the staff getting a bit of a look in probably lightens the mood in the room too. As long as they don't use any 'ringers' apparently Purdy from the last series has appeared in a few reality shows before. |
