I hate it when they cut to the reaction of someone that is clearly not the actual reaction and was just edited from another conversation. Why do reality TV shows always seem to do that?
Yes I agree, it's so obvious and annoying.

That guy doesn't tip. Says it all.

And that broad is half Tory/half UKIP. I would've left there and then.

I jokingly said stripper when he asked her what she does. What a shocker.

To be fair. I think she's probably clueless about politics and just improvised. And then used the whole, "I don't talk about politics on first dates" as an excuse.

Is the Disney obsessed girl who went on a date with bland model last series back? This series feels like a continuation of the last because they kept showing the guy who said the Jacob's chat up line last series.

Indeed, the Jacob's cream crackers line and the "you're crap at dating" in tonight's episode were both featured heavily in the opening titles of the previous series, so presumably it's all a continuous shoot from last year.

The editing was better in this episode with the waiting staff being reduced to background again and the tedious insights of the maitre d' being cut down to a couple of quotes. I hope that continues. Bigging up the staff in the previous series was silly and inappropriate.

The posh bloke is better off without the chubby, trunk-necked UKIP/Tory girl. It's true though, with just a little more confidence he would quickly become way out of her league.

Just caught up with the first episode of the new series.

I think I cringed a lot more than I usually do during it

Getting a calculator out on a first date for splitting the bill.....

It's as if because he is French he is automatically an expert in love or something. I would rather see more of the dates than listen to his anecdotes

The same series, in fact. This was episode 10 of series 3.
