Carphone Warehouse messed up order

I ordered a Lumia 925 and it went through fine, it was supposed to be delivered around 26th, all was good, though yesterday I changed my mind with which colour I wanted. I explained to the lady I wanted to change the colour of the handset, she said that would be fine.

Now today I received a Lumia 920, I called up and explained the error they said they cannot exchange the phone but to take up a new contract, which didn't go through, it was declined by Three.

So now im left with no ability to get this new contract and a phone I do not want.

Is anyone who works or knows about carphone warehouse, is there any way for them to change the handset to the actual phone I ordered?

You haven't got what you ordered, the DSR come into play. Phone them and TELL them you're sending it back under the DSR as it's not the phone you ordered.

They are fine with me sending it back, but I want the phone I ordered, they wont change it to the phone I ordered, they said they will only allow me to send it back and to take another new one out, which got declined.

So basically I am stuck with this phone I do not want or no phone.

I'd imagine it got declined because you still had a 'live' contract, even tho it hadn't been enabled.

You tried going into a shop if there's one near you, or phoning and speaking to someone else?

Well thanks you helped me

I did speak to 2 people with no luck, I will go to my local tomorrow and see what happens

Do you think I should wait until this live account is cancelled and reorder, if yes, how long should I wait?

I was hoping to make use of the free charging plate and wireless charger which is valid till 26th

Best thing to do is ask those questions in the shop and see what your options are, you never know you might get lucky.
