I mentioned Gabrielle, but I called her Gabriella. whoops.

She was definitely my favourite that series, I especially loved her creativity.

Here are a few I've liked:

S1 - Saira for being entertaining without being mean albeit choppy as a candidate. James for being competent and likable. Miriam for being competent and for being unluckily fired for bad reasons. Tim for being likable.

S2 - Alexa, Jo and Ansell as people. Syed for entertainment though it got a bit old.

S3 - Tre for being humorous and having values (e.g. not abusing the fact Jadine was depressed). Jadine for turning things around from her awful start. Naomi, Lohit for being likable. Katie for making her mark on the series as an interesting caricature (should have been fired right away after the interviews though). Kristina as a candidate. Adam as a person but not as a candidate.

S4 - Lucinda for being honest and likable albeit probably not suited to the job. Raef for being pleasant and unfairly fired at that point. Sara as person.

S5 - Yasmina for competency. Howard for quiet competency. Lorraine and James as people.

S6 - I guess I liked Sandeesh and Joanna, but most people in this series blend into some middle of the road soup.

S7 - Susan for having good instincts and for turning things round. Helen as a candidate though a tad bland as a person. Natasha for absolutely no good reason. Jim for the audacity.

S8 - Nick as a candidate. Gabrielle, Jenna as people. Duane for the potential.

S9 - TBD

Ones I've disliked:

S1 - Paul Torrisi for overestimating his abilities and not being fired when he should have (though that's not his fault).

S2 - none really, but Paul had some qualities I didn't much care for.

S3 - Simon Ambrose for being annoying and for not being fired for that shambles of a telesales task. Ghazal for being two-faced and a bit useless.

S4 - Lee for being annoying (but was an ok-ish winner given the overall standard). Alex and Helene for being undeserving finalists and not being very nice. Michael for being deluded and for similar reasons as Paul T. Jenny C for being mean and foolish. Lindi for being foolish.

S5 - Ben and Phillip for being annoying. Noorul for being useless. Kate for being overly 'placed' (though was an OK candidate).

S6 - Stella for being too 'steely' though was ok winner. Laura for being negative.

S7 - Tom as a candidate and winner (sorry to his fans) but not as a person. Zoe for being negative and for flat out lying on the biscuit task.

S8 - Adam for being annoying though he sold well on occasions.

Did you watch Young Apprentice? If so, what would be your choices from that?

I partly watched YA series 2, but not enough that I could give solid choices. I remember not liking how the losing team in the last task all got instantly eliminated, though.

There are many I've liked.

Men: Ansell, Tre Azam, James Q, Lohit, Simon the ex-squaddie and my all-time favourite, Chris Bates.

Women: Saira, Ruth Badger (probably my fav), Jo from S2, Jadine (esp for refusing to let men kiss her for money), Clare (apart from her meanness to Simon) and Lucinda Ledgerwood to name but a few.

Many I've disliked. Amongst them were Alex (slimy git), Helene (from the same series, moany and useless, can't believe she made the final 4), Jenny Celery (as I call her) and Irish Jim (couldn't stand the guy, insincere and disingenuous to his last.)

I didn't like Ben 'I won a scholarship to Sandhurst' very much but he was great entertainment and appeared contrite for his behaviour when he was on YF so he'd never make my dislike list.

Oh, Helene. She was a very interesting character. One of the very few contestants ever to be completely open to the camera about hating every single other contestant. Incredibly two-faced and insincere, but undeniably a shrewd person as people did seem to like her, so she hid her hatred pretty well.

It did for her in the end though, when she had to work intensely with one person, and her two-faced snobbery ate itself and ripped the team in half, costing them both a place in the final two. But as it was Alex who shared her defeat I didn't mind.

I could never understand why Lord Sugar seemed to rate her. I recall that early in the process he sought her opinion as to the failure of a task and was surprised then and later. Her sob story and crying annoyed me too. I wasn't sorry that she and Alex lost out. Couldn't bear either of them and never understood all the female fuss about Alex.

Another I forgot to list amongst my likes was Raef. I loathed him the first few weeks but he so grew on me. Michael should have been fired for the ad and not Raef.

Similar to Laura in series 6, I agree and found Zoe very miserable

I liked Zara Brownlees from Young Apprentice. She deserved that win she got. I also liked a lot from The Apprentice.

Just two questions: in what way was Syed better than Saira? And do you mean Simon Ambrose or Simon Smith?

I thinkSyed was funny, but I found Saira really irritating and patronizing towards other candidates.

And I don't like Simon AMBROSE purely for the reason he was allowed to win

My favourite candidate ever ever ever was Raef, by miles I thought he was such a gentleman. I also really liked Lucida, James Q, Susan Ma, Nick H and Jason from this series.

Least favourite, I hated Alex Wotherspoon, he was just so irritating, Michael Sophocles, for obvious reasons and Jenny C again for obvious reasons.

I haven't watched all the series. From 6th season I liked Paloma and Chris Bates, and got really happy when Alex got fired. From 7th season I liked many (Susan, Glenn, Leon, Tom...) but I didn't really have a favourite, I found Vincent and Natasha very irritating though. From 8th season I didn't strongly dislike anyone, I liked Tom, Adam and Jade. I was hoping she'd win, but Ricky was ok aswell, a funny guy.

From 9th season I dislike almost all of them, and my favourite is Jason.

I disagree. I really liked Saira, and I couldn't stand Syed.

Series 4 have the most unlikeable characters ever - Jenny C, Michael Sophocles, Claire (I really disliked her), Helen, Alex...I actually dislike almost everyone in series 4.

Sophocles takes the title for me. Often, totally hopeless candidates compensate by at least being quite nice people. In his case, uh, not so much. And Sugar...would...not..FIRE HIM!!!

Tim and Miriam from Series 1 . Both were honourable and worthy candidates. I would have loved to see the two of them in the final. I'm surprised Saira was not fired after her behaviour at the football club.

From series 2, I really liked Ruth and Ansell. I thought Ansell was an honest person and I liked the way that he went about business without trying to sabotage anyone else. Nargis was a joke. How her team thought she did nothing was ludicrous. The woman was opinionated and deluded.

From series 3 I really liked Natalie. She wasn't very good, but she was nice. I wouldn't trust her to run a multi-million pound business. Everyone has Katie down as the villain from series 3. She's opinionated and arrogant, but you can't argue with that fact that she produces results. She did think herself above all the women there, but as project manager she worked well with them all and led to them to a much deserved victory. I think Paul was the most unlikable from that series. Deluded and arrogant without reason.

From series 4, I loved Lucinda. I thought she was brilliant and knew how to get the best of people. Simon was really good as well and Claire was disgusting in the way she targeted him. Characters such as Jenny C, Helene and Michael were just pitiful. Helene making the final was a joke.

From series 8, I really liked Ricky. I thought him telling Stephen to let Gabby speak in the boardroom was really honourable. He recognised that Stephen saw Gabby as an easy target and stopped him from going

Wow, I'm astonished you didn't like Kendra. What didn't you like about her? I thought she masterminded Magna to that nine-task winning streak.
