TMS not available on mobile for England only?
Does anyone know why I cannot stream the TMS cricket commentary for England games in the current competition yet have been able to for other games not involving England?
This is using the BBC Radio app on my WM8 mobile. It is available to stream on my laptop but as I am just planning to take a walk down to the pub and reception on my personal DAB radio is a bit patchy I was hoping to listen to it on my phone. But it looks like an early lunch break is coming so could time my walk for then.

Checked and the India / Sri Lanka semi was not available yesterday either. So the other times I checked and it was on seems to have been bloopers?

Works fine on the TuneIn app on Android. Not sure if that's available on your WM8 phone, but it's the best radio app going imo.

Has anyone tried the US service www.willow.tv for live cricket (online live video streaming)?
They seem to charge around US$15 per month for their full service, but I don't know if they are geo-blocked. |

Installed TuneIn on my WM8 phone yesterday and was using it for Radio Le Mans overnight. Can take a few goes to get it to connect and start streaming but OK once going. ODI final has now started so I can test it on that ...
... and we are in. ![]() Just checked and the BBC Radio app says there is a rights restriction with the live commentary. Online rights are online rights aren't they so what is the difference?

If you're using mobile data and the stream isn't starting then try a lower bit rate stream. You'll sacrifice some audio quality, but it's more likely to work over the mobile network. Plus it will eat less of your data allowance up. Looking like we've had it for any play in the cricket

Ta. Had already found the bit-rate option. Was testing at home on my wi-fi but a low bit rate for TMS while out and about would be tolerable. On an unlimited data package so that is not a problem, but being in places where I can only get basic 3G coverage may be.
