Just wondering who people consider to be Hollyoaks best and most evil villain and why?

I would say Clare Devine, for her 2006/2007 story's, back then she was brilliant IMO.

Poll should appear soon.

I know villains such as Sienna and Brendan are more complex to be considered just villains but I included them because they have done pretty evil things.

Why is sienna on the list? What exactly has she done to constitute a villian?
also where's Toby Mills?

Clare is the best female villain
Male villain has to be Brendan Brady or Silas, but I voted for Brendan cos he's my favourite

I know she is a bit more complex to be called a straight out villain, but she is very manipulative and could come across as a villain considering what she did to Nancy and how she is manipulating Tom.

As for Toby, I forgot him, I put the other option if I forgot any.

Rob Hawthorne all the way for me.

If Scott Anderson was on the list I may have been split

Fair enough, but on the show right now Browning is made to be the main villian.

Brendan was not a villain... if you don't know that by now then you never understood the character...

Rob all the way, whats not to love, he was the first villain, he was by far the poshest as well. Who can forget him kidnapping Tony and the gang and trying to drown them in a navel water training tank, pure Bond villain move.

second place must go to the second poshest villain ever Toby Mills. The first and best woman hating serial killer in the village, who was way better than sillas when it came to acting like a nice guy.

third place goes to all round thug and former owner of the loft, who proved himself to be made of teflon, when he survived the place burning down around him, returning a year later to exact his revenge.. I am clearly talking about Scott "Warren Fox MK1" Anderson.

In recent years Double B and Warren Have been hightlights as has Sillas.

He killed numerous people (including his gran), dealt drugs, was a thief and beat up Ste.
How does that not make him a villian?

on a related note, it would be great if they brought Scott Anderson back to buy the club from Doctor Evil and Hollyoaks answer to Perry Mason.

Totally agree with the BIB! My vote goes to Rob

Toby Mills and Andy Holt were pure evil as well, especially Andy.

Silas Blissett - The cleverest villain by far. There were so many plots he could have been apart of and he never had a scene with Warren Fox which was disappointing.

Warren Fox - For me he is the original bad guy from the golden era of Hollyoaks. His return was fantastic for me and the fact he battled Brendan Brady was amazing. I did feel by then that fans were obsessed with BB to the point were they seemed not to give a damn about Warren.

Clare Devine - I do still love Clare and am happy with her return and her 3rd stint coming up. However her original stint was AMAZING and was during the golden era. Her treatment of Max and Tom Cunningham was hard to watch and her battle with Warren, Louise Summers and various other people was great.

Brendan Brady - Fantastic but over used and far too many excuses were made for his outrageous and sometimes cruel behaviour. All the people mentioned have likely suffered trauma in their lives (Warren was in care and Silas' wife seemed to be a cheater) so excusing his domestic abuse and murders isn't justifiable. Obviously his was explained more so that is likely why. Best actor on that show though but was more interested in Warrens antics.

Doctor Paul Browning and Mercedes Fisher - I know they are leading the show and they are amazing! However I feel they are more light relief then actual top notch thought provoking viewing.

I lied the fact Sam Owens exit ended with multiple cast members dying which soaps seem to find so difficult to do, especially when it is the deadwood that needs cutting out (The Queen Victoria Fire/Peggy's exit and The Rovers Return fire).

I think Brendan was a villain to start with, but then they humanised him and it turned out that underneath he was just a damaged man. I think that's what made the character so popular, he wasn't just your typical 2D villain, the character was complex and had so much depth and layers.
