To hear a song like "Dam* Right" come from a guy like my most favorite singer James Otto, a male who looks like a football player by growing as much as six feet and five inches, how can a girl not want to put their arms around the precious beautiful sweet hearted teddy bear???
![]() God bless you and him always!!! ![]() Holly P.S. I'm serious. For a voice as heart filled as his to come from a person with his appearance...to me the Lord could not have done a better job on him...James is the whole package.

Eels - Climbing to the Moon
A song about the singers sister, who comitted suicide while in a mental institution because she tried numerous times in the past. Climbing to the Moon is a euphamism for going to heaven. So I wrote it all in a letter But I don't know if it came But the nurse she likes my writing So she keeps it just like me So that it won't get away I won't be denied this time 'Fore i go out of my mind over matters Got my foot on the lader And I'm climbing up to the moon Got a sky that looks like heaven Got an earth that looks like shit And it's getting hard to tell where What i am ends And what they're making me begins And I won't be denied this time 'Fore I go out of my mind over matters Got my food on the ladder And I'm climbing up to the moon Saturday in the yard They'll bring you by We'll lay down on the grass And watch as the sky closes in I won't be denied this time 'Fore I go out of my mind over matters Got my foot on the ladder And I'm climbing up to the moon |

Brand New - Limousine
It's a song with a heavy guitar but beautiful lyrics and the story surrounding the song, is what makes it a sad one. |

Damaris - Patrick Wolf
Little Lamb Dragonfly - Paul McCartney and Wings - supposedly about a dead lamb, but really just a beautiful song about loss. I've been loving you - Otis Redding A lot of The Smiths, but that depends on your view on The Smiths, to me they're never a drone but to some they're the ultimate definition of one |

The most irrepressably downbeat song I know is Night Shift by Siouxsie & The Banshees...it's about the Yorkshire Ripper...

Alone Again..Naturally- Gilbert O Sullivan.
It's the only song that can make this hard-hearted woman cry,and I won't entertain the notion that any other song is sadder. |
