Emmerdale.. Seriously unrealistic chance?
Is it just me .. Or does anyone else find it absolutely crazy that the exact spot Alex's body is buried is where they start digging up?
Or is there actually some weird logic to why it was in the same place? I don't see how.. I just think, what are the chances of this lol?! |

I actually thought it might have been Seth's body until they said something about plastic being found. Seth was buried in a wicker coffin. Maybe I'm missing something here, but I thought a few weeks back that the site where Cameron had buried Alex was filled in with concrete. Like I say, I may have missed something and am quite happy to be put right!

What I found unrealistic was everyone's reaction to a body being found tonight.
Wtf builder man just casually suggesting they cover it up, did he even mention a pay rise? |

And I don't think it's particularly realistic that Declan or even Megan would suggest covering it up and "turning a blind eye". Seems a bit far-fetched even for this ridiculous Macey pair. And just an excuse for Declan to get into an argument with Katie, it struck me. |

Yes. I don't like Katie but I'm glad she had the decency to say they should go to the police.

This story line has not been researched at all.
The site would have been cleared of trees etc for a start not just a few bits and pieces moved. We are builders and to suggest that a dodgy supervisor would go along with this is silly. What about the rest of the bones, what are they going to do with those, I am sure the rest of the builders, labourers and who ever is on the site will surely see unless they are blind what is happening. Wasn't there someone else shot a while ago and buried in the wood, but I can't remember his name or what happened to his body. All I can remember he was married to a lady who shot him and she was having an affair with Declan. |

Why has Betty not been concerned that they are digging up the woods where Seth is buried(I know I would if someone was planning on digging up the woods where my loved one was buried) or the Dingles for that matter if they buried someone there.

They found Mark Wylde's body years ago, so it definitely isn't him. I don't think Seth's buried in Sparrow Woods - he's in the same woodland that Mark was buried in, which was on the Home farm estate (Betty was worried about it at the time). Declan bought Sparrow Wood recently - so unless they sold it after Mark's body was found, and then he bought it back, it's a different wood.

Am I missing something....?
I assumed "the poacher the Dingles buried" is Seth (Zac buried him). As Megan never knew Seth, and Nicola has a passion for over-dramatising things, I just assumed that was her spin on what happened to Seth. |

No, Seth is buried somewhere on Home Farm estate -illegally so there's no marker or anything. Betty organised it with Zak doing the heavy work.

The thing is - would it even take so long for the police to do their stuff and free the site up again for work? Their forensics people would surely prioritise a body, in which case it wouldn't take them long to establish how long it was since it had died, whether it was a suspicious death etc. It surely wouldn't delay work on the site for a huge amount of time - it would be ready for the festival, although not the summer season.
after all, CSI Grissom can do it in a matter of minutes just by recognising that the tiny paint mark on the victim's denim jacket was of a type only used on VW transit vans made between 2000 and 2003

I wish they would just end this Alex storyline. Every time it's close to being revealed some character has to make it drag out for even longer.
I can see Alex's death being revealed at Christmas! |

I thought they'd find his old Nan in there too - you know, the one who swore she'd "leave no stone unturned until she found him" - that determined old dear we've never seen nor heard of since.

One thing I'm surprised they've not thought about the body.... blaming it on the plane crash?

They were worried about a day to dig the drain! the police could take at least a week looking for every bone and piece of evidence and more bodies with the entire site shut down for that time, and then would anyone want to sleep were a murder victim was just found plus bad press for the entire festival.
![]() there are some who would go for that very reason![]() Yes, it would affect the glamping site, but would it have too much of a knock on effect for the festival itself? Rock Ness had a fatality last year, and it didn't seem to affect them. I think T in the Park had one in recent years as well.
