Is this one of the shows where you are not guaranteed entrance?

I thought YF was usually filmed on a Monday? Unless the episode is shown earlier than Wednesday for some reason.

It's actually You're Fired, not You've Been Fired! I think you're getting confused with You've Been Framed!

Having said that, have fun! I hope you enjoy yourself!

And as another poster said, make sure you get there early so you can be sure of getting in. I've read an account of someone else; they were the last people in the 'definitely getting in' queue... everyone afterwards was in a 'might get in' queue. I think those that don't get in are invited for the next episode though, but I'm not sure. I've never done it myself, so it's just what I've read.

Get there as early as you sensibly can, as you are not guaranteed entry. They allocate more tickets than there are seats available to ensure the studio is full, as there are always some drop-outs, people who ask for 4 tickets and then only turn up with 3 etc.

If you miss out, I think you get priority tickets for a future recording, but that's not much use on the night!

When I went to YF a few weeks back I arrived there at about 5:20 (doors open 6:30). We got in comfortably, but the queue got longer quite rapidly in the half hour after that and a lot of people definitely didn't make it in.

I would say the thing to do is to ensure you have at least one person in the queue by 5:30 at the very latest, ideally a bit before.

Also bear in mind the queue is outdoors and therefore subject to the weather.

Enjoy!

Can you take my video of me falling off my bike in? I'll share the £250 with you.
