Michelle was my favourite. An unpopular choice, I know, but she stood out for me from the 4th episode, when she nailed the quantity issue that sank Alexa.

My word, Meglos, we pretty much are of a similar mind! I agree with pretty much all of this apart from I supported Susan from the start, I didn't mind Tom winning that series and I supported Kristina after Jadine left instead of Simon. Apart from that it pretty much sums up my opinion on each series!
I did like Kristina too, but I felt Simon just had that extra edge, especially after the trainers ad campaign task ("reclaim the street") where he really gave it his all. Plus his goofiness was quite endearing. Overall I thought he was just the apprentice Sugar needed - full of enthusiasm, full of energy, full of ideas, but also fiercely loyal. During the interviews when he was reeling off all the research he had done about Sugar's career was just so typical of Simon. lol Kristina kind of let me down when, after the great task where she correctly took Paul to task in the boardroom, she was drinking wine with Katie and toasting to them "kicking Adam's arse in the boardroom". Though Sugar kind of destroyed that brief alliance by revealing she exposed the Paul/Katie relationship the task before. Plus, to find out she went into business with Jenny C from series 4, it makes you question the company she keeps. |
