I upgraded yesterday from an ancient Iphone 3GS to a samsung S3 mini. I was umming and ahhing for ages and I'm so glad I did. The s3 mini is a fab little phone,I have taken it out on 02 refresh and pay £22 per month.

If I was going for an Android phone I would go for a good spec (quad core A9 or dual core A15 and 1GB+ RAM) as in my personal experience (HTC Desire, Galaxy S2) anything below can lag and stutter through menus.
The Samsung Galaxy S3 and Nexus 4 both comfortably fit in this category. If going with iOS then stick with at least an iPhone 4S. |
