There are three fantasy TDF games I play every year and will be again - one isn't up yet until next week. All varying levels of commitment needed. But I've set up DS Mini-League's in them, if anybody fancies joining.

If your worry is having to devote time after every stage, then fear not - one of these games is ideal. The first has a high level of commitment, the second medium and the last, none at all once it starts.

1) http://fantasy.cyclingnews.com/default.aspx

DS League - Password Digital.

Pick 9 riders (plus a team and a stage). Six transfers per week, over 3 and a bit weeks, so needs a few minutes research and time after each stage.

2) http://nbcfantasy.stats.com/cycling/index.asp

Not up yet, will set up league next week.

Decent game, but American so don't think we can be eligible for the prizes but fine to enter. Medium level of commitment. Pick 15 riders, no changes at all once it starts. Pick 9 from those 15 each stage.

3) http://www.velogames.com/

League Name: DS League
League Code: 19231110

Simple as you can get. Pick 9 riders, before the start. That's your lot.

The first one, was the Halfords TDF game from last year we played on here, incase anybody is waiting for that to update.

It's exactly the same game, same company just running it via the cycling news forum.

Just done the Velogames teams in a couple of hours research tonight. If nobody drops out, I'll leave that team as it is - one less to worry about in the week.

I play the main CQ game too on here - four is enough for me!

Well add to that the team for the missus and my boy which I add my input on. Let's hope the laptop holds out for the next month.

Some decent prizes on all of them.

Yeah theres a mixture of different games.
Ones pick and leave like Velogames and theres ones with transfers.
My knowledge is still raw especially when it comes to stages(i rely on betting each day for clues)so ones where i have to do transfers where theres rounds(block of stages)i struggle.

Forgot theres the Prediction Game too.Pick each day

Im no huge success at these and the bettinng sites are a good guide but the one tip id advise in most stages is avoid any domestiques or riders just for their leader or the sprint train.

Most games have little value bar the ode assist points in those. That wipes out about 50%.of riders and most of Sky, BMC, Katusha, Saxo, Omega etc. In most teams youre really after their 1st or 2nd string GC guy or their lead sprinter apart from the odd stage hunter which is often a wild guess.

Hi, the top game of these three (which is the best) has a Friday afternoon deadline, so really need to be sorting the first stage side out tomorrow.

It's up and running now, they've left it a bit late - the night before the start although stages 1-4 are practice phases. I've picked my team - but it requires U.S address this year, I'm ok as the inlaws are there.

The actual game starts on stage 4 or 5 next week, so if anybody fancies it, I'll set up a mini league.

Just accepted two more entries, then another was waiting - 8 of us into the main game now (No 1). Should be good fun, best of all the games and actually quite easy money-wise to get a decent team each stage, on paper at least.

I've got my bonus stage tomorrow.

Did they run the Halfords game ok last year? Anyway my team still hasn't had any points allocated - looks very sporadic.

tso thanks but please take these scores with a very big pinch of salt. For example I had Kittel yesterday with the bonus stage and have been awarded just 5 points for having him for some reason......
