Mandy in Coronation Street, we haven't seen much of her recently, but she makes me laugh with her wooden acting.

That was intentional.

I have absolutely no idea what the writers were thinking here... It was an odd end to a good episode. It was funny though

You'd have to go a long way to beat Bridget in Neighbours' delivery of the line 'Oh no, poor Libby!'!

Phil telling Jay's dad "I own ya!"

The famous "bubbly's in the fridge" gets my vote - bwahaha Not that I watched BackEnders even then but I think I must have been dimly aware of the situation and caught this somehow

Another favourite: very recently, Emmerdale's Rhona at her very first addiction meeting group session:

"So...my name's Lucy and.....I think I've left my lights on!" before legging it out of the room. Was supposed to highlight her distress and inability to cope with her problem but it was unintentionally comical beyond words

The thread's about unintentionally funny scenes, not unintentionally sexy scenes

Ha ha I forgot that one. Also Bridget's death was hilarious. Even the Australian TV Burp picked up on it.

How can any situation involving Phil Mitchell ever be sexy (unintentionally or otherwise)?!

Hardly unintentional. The writers knew exactly what they were doing with Stape, and made the plot a fantastically black comedy.

Liam leaving the Square to Little Mix after what was meant to be a serious and hard hitting gang storyline

I was howling.

Definitely "bubbly in the fridge" was one people found hilarious, because it was so camp and OTT. It is a fabulous scene.

Gail and Eileen's legendary brawl on the Cobbles in 2004 produced some fantastic dialogue. I'm sure it wasn't meant to be a comedy scene, but the sight of Gail out in her dressing gown screaming like a fishwife at the Grimshaws door, was just brilliant.

Coupled with great lines Eileen had. "Go 'ome Gail!" "He will needs an aids test after sleeping with your slag of a daughter" "She's been dropping grandkids since she was 13" "She didn't need much persuading, she never does!" I mean they're really big insults but they're amazingly delivered.

The actual brawl itself is pantomime. Gail has some cracking lines too "Oh look, heres the other one. The rest of the village people" as Jason arrives on the scene in a hardhat.

Best catfight ever on Corrie I think.

BIB really??

You then list a load of reasons precisely why is it was a fabulous comedy scene. Do you really think they were unintentional?

EastEnders:

Pretty much anything from Old Ben, but in particular the "you need slapping down" scene. I was howling with laughter at that! His attempt at 'gangster speak' was also hilarious, as was the Girls Aloud scene in the Vic living room

Peggy's "let it burn" ruined the Queen Vic fire.
"Bubbly in the fridge" was amazing
Heather's asthma attack and collapse in the Square
Sharon's "my son is in the kitchen eating a biscuit" also deserves a mention

Yeah I think a lot of the comedy with Stape was definitely intentional

Old Ben's attempt at being hard was so adorable though

Yeah that made me laugh, I think it was just the way Letica Dean delivered the line.

A random one that sticks in my mind was in Corrie when Paul had his wife with Alzheimer's staying at Eileen's house and the wife is upstairs shouting about being hungry or something and Paul shouts up the stairs 'You've just had your dinner, EGG AND CHIPS'

Dunno if it was meant to be funny but it made me laugh.

This is going back many years when Racquel was in Corrie, she was supposed to be doing some modeling at the time and was telling Ken, I think, and some others, how nice her hands were and so she was good for 'hand jobs' how they all kept a straight face I do not know, I'd love to see that clip again!

Jim Robinson's death in Neighbours was hilarious and even better was the terrible acting that followed from Fiona Hartman.
