Only three people have managed to make it through the second week in the ATP competition.

Day 5 - Benoit Paire's straight sets defeat to Lukasz Kubot meant that InTheLoop and Magpie were eliminated. Kenny de Schepper knocked out charlieparr, Cissy Fairfax, JustWonderful and myself by beating the 20th seed Juan Monaco.

Day 6 - The three remaining players in the ATP comp safely made it through to day 7 with victories for Tomas Berdych and Tommy Haas.

Bhaveshgor:
(Robredo, Anderson, Paire, Chardy, Melzer, Berdych)
- (14/16 players left to choose from)

Mike Teevee:
(Lu, Dimitrov, Almagro, Chardy, Haas, Youzhny, Berdych)
- (13/16 players left to choose from)

fatsi
(Janowicz, Chardy, Robredo, Seppi, Melzer, Haas)
- (12/16 players left to choose from)

* Players in bold are still in the competition.

Bhavesh, Mike and Fatso have done brilliantly to make it this far in what has been a tournament full of upsets. Taking a look at the suicide thread on the Men's Tennis Forum, they started out with 104 entrants, and only one person managed to make it to day 6!

Bhavesh currently has the most options to choose from, whereas fatsi has the fewest... although all three are handily placed. The highest seed to have been chosen so far is Tomas Berdych by both Bhavesh and Mike. However, fatsi's choice of Janowicz on the very first day of the competition could come back to haunt them, as he's the favourite in his quarter of the draw to make the semi-finals.

Well done to everyone that has made it to the second week, fantastic effort!

Cuishla has played a fantastic game, as he still has 14 players still to choose from. Should Pironkova and Pennetta lose to Radwanska and Flipkens respectively, he could choose from any of the quarterfinalists.

Mike and I will have to hope that some of our previous picks go out tomorrow, as we both only have 11 players left to choose from.

Of the players left in the draw, only Serena Williams, Sabine Lisicki, Agnieszka Radwanska, and Karin Knapp haven't been chosen by anybody left in the contest.

logically I should go for a winner from Kubot v Mannarino match, but I don't know enough about either to risk picking them

Delpo's dodgy knee scares me too much to risk picking him now, by the quarters I might have no choice.

I can worry about that if and when it happens

happy gaming everyone

hmm this is now really tricky. I think the winner is coming from the bottom, but I don't want to pick Lisicki just yet as that'll screw me for the semis

I'm gonna that a risk that Bartoli's unorthodox play will come unstuck against Sloane, so....
