When is 4.2 going to be available for HTC One
Anyone any clue when I might see Android 4.2 on my HTC One (Three). I am still waiting for features I have had on my IOS devices for several years.

Which features would those be because I'm pretty sure 4.1.2 offers them all? 4.2.2 offers features iOS6 and 7 don't even have...

1. Triple tap one finger for global display magnification IOS has supported this as a double tap with 3 fingers since the release of the 3GS (it needed hardware support). I used to have a Nexus 4 and I really miss it on the HTC One. It means an essential accessory that needs to be carried around with the HTC is reading glasses ![]() 2. Battery percentage on status display 3. User accounts - And I know IOS does not support this, but the main use of it for me is to allow me to hand the device to someone else to use, locked into one app so that they cannot access my email etc. IOS has supported this as a triple tap of the home button also for several years. And yes, I know Android has features IOS doesn't have - but only one that I really miss and that's the Swype keyboard. That's the reason why I would tend to use the HTC for things like forum postings when on the move, that and the big screen. |

This sort of thing makes the case for the Nexus 4 even stronger imo, even forgetting the amazing price.
