Hello everyone!
Although I was still upset by Pixie's absence in the final - I know how to carry a grudge extremely well - I quite enjoyed the show last night. And I think the best contender has won the trophy *major sigh of relief* I don't know if I'll watch the Christmas show this year , though, because the sight of Craig in drag (false lashes, long nails AND lipstick) really upset my stomach last night ![]() I know I haven't been much of a poster this season, if at all, but I still enjoyed jumping on this thread once in a while and was always extremely happy to find all you lovely posters keeping it going. Have a very Merry Christmas all and a very healthy and joyous New Year! Soupy, your praying to StJill of Halfpenny really made me laugh out loud!

Hi DQ I might be being really thick (no surprise there), but I can't find the Red Button interviews on I-Player, only the two shows from last night? I tried searching for it with no luck. Am I doing something wrong?
Happy Christmas to you too and to everyone else! ![]() ![]()

Hi DQ,
OT but forgot to answer your post: nice to know your friends' son is enjoying himself at uni over here! Where is he studying? Antwerp, Gent, Brussels, Leuven? Merry Xmas and Happy Holidays! |

I liked the interview with Caroline and Pasta. I even thought we got glimpses of the real person from Pash
![]() Kristina and Simon were very sweet about each other. My goodness, Kristina feels things deeply! She's a passionate woman. Glad they both seemed to get so much out of the experience. Happy Christmas everyone. Not sure I'll get to see the Christmas Day show, but will try and catch up with it later. Sounds like a complete camparama!

Wickster, SQ...great to see so many familiar faces reappearing. I couldn't watch the show live and it's taken me a while to catch up. Basically (and apart from the all the Kartem nostalgia) I thought Strictly this year was pretty great. I wasn't strongly emotionally attached but there was a lot to admire and enjoy. I also thought that the final was one of the best I've seen. I'm wondering if Brucie's absence made it all a lot less tense. ![]() My only niggle with the whole series was the terrible music. I hope to goodness that someone allows the Pros to have more say about this next year. Sorry I haven't been posting so much this year, I hope to improve next year. ![]() Quote:
Popping in quickly between packing like crazy to head of to family for Christmas and recovering from bubbly over-indulgence last night whilst watching final.
![]() Chuffed to chuffdom that Caroline & Pasta won, especially agreeing with you Wicks after that spitefest of a godawful excuse for a piece of 'journalism' that the Fail posted yesterday. Though wouldn't have minded Simon at all or Frankie. Loved Flackers show dance and Simon's AT - still. Disagree with you though Peevey, nothing will ever quite put the ghost of bacofoil to rest, certainly chez Nina it's a Christmas tradition up there with 'It's a Wonderful Life'. Was it just me (very credible given the bubbles rate ), or were Gary Barlow's trousers too tight and too small for him ????? The poor man looked in constant pain. So wishing you all a very Happy Christmas & a FAB-U-LOUS 2015. ![]() ![]() ![]() Thrilled Caroline won, Pasta produced fantastic choreo and her connection with every dance made it a pure pleasure to watch. Hi. Nooney, agree with most of your post. I enjoyed the final, though sadly we were hit with french taxes and final house construction bills just before we were about to buy the television , so watched it on OH's computer which makes it rather jerky
Will download and rewatch I think. Re Brucie, much better without him, I used to find him all me, me, me. I quite like Tess's blandness. Though I did notice that she made a spontaneous jeu de mot " it takes two to Tango" ---- go girl. Nina I also noticed Gary Barlow's trousers, but as my two have come back for Christmas sporting the same look, I thought it must be the fashion. They also seemed rather short. Happy Christmas to all |

I've just seen that Kara is currently filming a horror film 'Let's be Evil', so I guess that explains the photo of the guy with blood all over his head (and maybe the underground bunker).

Looks like Kara is doing a Mr Selfridge photo shoot for Hello magazine while she is in New York for Christmas. The guy who posted this pic seems to be the stylist

Happy New Year! Wishing everyone a happy, healthy and fun 2015.
![]() I was away for the SCD final but watched it a couple of days ago when I got back. Enjoyed it but wasn't that impressed by the choice of dances made by the judges and couples. Would have preferred to see more lovely ballroom and not so many Charleston and Latin dances. I thought Caroline and Pasha's Charleston lost something without the backup dancers. I was supporting Simon and Kristina but didn't expect them to win after being in the dance off so often. There is a poll on the main thread asking who the best celeb winner is. Kara doing very well! Here is the link if anyone wishes to vote. http://forums.digitalspy.co.uk/showthread.php?t=2035154 Don't have tickets for the live tour. I'd be interested to see Simon and Thom but not interested (at all) to see Scott or Alison. Anyone out there going to the live tour? Looking forward to seeing Kara in Mr Selfridge.

Happy New Year to everyone, hope you have all enjoyed the festive season.
![]() Enjoyed the final of SCD and pleased to see Caroline and Pasha win. The one and only time I voted in the whole series. With Pasha not doing this tour, Caroline dancing with Tristram, and not being really bothered about the rest have not bought tickets yet and doubt if I will. .

I'm booked to see the live tour in a Birmingham. Not as excited as other years. Going to miss Len and Bruno, as predictable as they are I think they add to the live show.

I guess Kara will start doing some TV appearances over the next few weeks to promote Mr Selfridge if its starting on the 25th.
I was wondering if the stage show with Kimberley and DVO will still go ahead. If Kara does do this film 'The Middle Man' which is supposed to be filming early this year, then presumably the fourth series of Mr Selfridge, I'm not sure when they would fit it in. TBH, I think it might be better career-wise if its forgotten about - although they're friends, DVO seems pretty unpopular with the public and I'm not sure doing a show with her would do Kara any favours
