Thanks for all the links and pix. I'm supposing Kara might have taken the group shot. What do you think?
I had a big day at work yesterday and a lot of prep had to go into it and so now all that is out of the way I can breath and feel I have some more of my life back. ![]() A couple of weeks ago Mr Noone and I decided to have a long weekend in London - with things going on in our lives we haven't had a proper break for 2 years - and had a lovely schedule of exhibitions and theatre trips. We saw lots of great stuff - recommend Memory Palace at the V & A, Ladykillers (very good) and Private LIves (excellent). I thought'd I'd booked for Chimerica on Sat night but at around about 5.30pm on the day checked the tickets and discovered I'd booked the matinee perf...so we'd missed it (b*gg*rs!). Mr Noone and I decided to drown our sorrows in a pub and decide what to do. We thought the only option was to have nice meal and decided that Cafe Koha was the perfect place to do this. Long story short (and after cocktails and a bottle of wine) we watched the crowds gather for Daniel Radcliffe's last night and (little did we know) Kara's last night too. Kara appeared, Mr Noone told me to go and say hello or he would, Mr Noone does and tells Kara that the shy (feltie) woman was in Cafe Koha. Mr Noone comes back to me and I noticed Kara talking to 2 women (thought flitted through my mind - they're Kartemites). Then Kara starts walking toward Koha, I go out to meet her followed by Mr Noone. As you all know Kara is the sweetest and most open, lovely person and it was a joy to meet her for a few minutes. I just thanked her for her lovely Strictly season (naturally she poo-pooed all compliments ) and thanked her for being the catalyst that brought Kartemites together to which she replied, 'I know, I can't believe it...and there are two of them over there waiting to talk to you!'Soooo, as a result of wasting money and missing the hottest ticket in town and by some fluke of fate I got to meet Kara and Siriol and crazy4kartem too! ![]() How nuts is that!

Thanks for the Fiona clip, fridge.
She seems to be picking things up pretty well. Good to see Anton in proper 'teacher' mode for a change.

Sigh.......OH and I went mad and got tickets to see K&A in the tour up in Glasgow. Drove all the way up there (10 hours) on the Friday. Settled into our grotty Travelodge. Next morning looked at tickets before going out around Glasgow for the day and realised that they were for Friday evening show not Saturday evening! Stomach hits floor! All that way and we missed the show. ![]() ![]() Madly look on E-bay to see if any Saturday evening tickets available. There are! So, hence dodgy meeting on a Glasgow street corner where tickets and cash were exchanged. Went to show in the evening, got hugs from K&A and drove back down south and home on Sunday! I can laugh about it now!

Hello Little Miss Exclamation Mark!!!! How very are you? You are quite right about the cucumber, though I borrowed it from a friend originally. Have a lovely break Agree with what you said about Pasha but suspect they were thinking Robin might be strong enough to lift the dragon???? Pasha shrugged during the car crash group dance when he was meant to hoist Vanessa I believe... ![]() ![]() Quote:
Good morning everybody
*waving to all Kartemites*Deeply felt thanks to all for keeping this thing going. I must say I feel quite priviliged for having the opportunity to be if only a very small part of this lovely group of people. I'll be hiding in the dark for a bit until the show really kicks off - the start of a new schoolyear is always a bit hectic - but come the end of September this thread will be my lifeline! See ya soon, lovely peeps! Question: what is a Reggie Perrin? Waves hello to another returning to the nest. This fine example of prime manliness is just for you. No need for thanks.![]() Reggie And I totally echo what you say, particularly to those who kept on posting through the Strictly-less summer. ![]() Quote:
If James manages to make Vanessa look even half decent he will have won my respect until the end of time ![]() ![]() Quote:

I'm thinking that kara has gone away on holiday and left Artem at home. On his visa, he can't leave the country when he is working so she will have gone without him. Doesn't she normally take a break after finishing a run in the west end?
