Howeverrrr, is it just me who like's Natalie's hair up, in the right sort of dance of course, I mean perfect for showing off that lovely neck-line and it does make me think elegant rather than doughnut ![]() I've been on Strictly catch up like crazy - well having actually got back last week and in time to watch Saturday night's show as well. However the sight of Artem's cossack costume thing for the Cha Cha had such a profound effect on me that it took several days alone to get over. ('n all this on top of jet lag ) And I don't mean profound in a good way - a 'knickerbocker' for want of a better word can only ever be one thing - distressing. Quote:

Quote from Craig's book
"Of course, Kara's dream came true. Strictly Come Dancing changed her life, for ever. She's getting all the acting work she's ever wanted, it re-kicked and re-booted her career to such an extent that people now notice her as an actress and not just a character from Eastenders. She is the toast of the West End - and soon she'll be moving into movies, I'm sure. And in Artem, she got her dream man out of it too. They're a beautiful couple and it's one of those real-life fairy tales. They both found love, they both found fame, they found fortune, they found it all". |

For those peeps who were interested in a print of the Kara painting by Jack Vettriano, I E Mailed Heartbreak Publishing who deal with his stuff and they said that regrettably prints of this painting are not currently available.

Apparently Tess in her blog this week has said that Claudia will be hosting with her again!
I'm sorry Bruce is so sick, but I'm happy to see Tess and Claudia do the show again! |

I'm sorry Bruce is so sick, but I'm happy to see Tess and Claudia do the show again! ?). I do hope he's okay and just needs a bit more rest. I'm almost at the point of finding him completely unbearable on the show, but I don't want him to be properly poorly .

OT: I thought this worth a watch - may be of interest to other dance fans (and environmentalists!
)The Culture Show: Sylvie Guillem - Force of Nature Season 10 Episode 16 of 32 A profile of the French dancer who was a protegee of Rudolf Nureyev and at 19 was the youngest ever `etoile', the highest-ranking female dancer at the Paris Opera Ballet, and later joined the Royal Ballet in London. Though still performing at the age of 48, Guillem is looking to the future and reinventing herself as an environmental campaigner BBC2: 10pm tonight |

I've just re watched the final, haven't watched it all the way through since they won.
All I can say is ....awwwwwwwwww! It was such a fairytale, the dancing the music and the true pure romance of it. Makes me feel all gushy. I don't think they'll ever be topped. |

I expect an extremely raunchy rhumba ,ha he can't help himself . Natalie knows dance and expression in dance so I expect it to be nines if not more . And it will be another master class in choreography Didn't know what a ....is it Slanket.? was had to look it up

Hi lovely Nina, pleased you had a good holiday & glad you are back DS-ing! Some Fab reports already in from Noonie,Wren,BV, Keep dancing, Anum & Soupy . I'm really struggling to keep up with all the threads etc so apologies if I've left anyone out. I promise I read them all.My contribution is late to the table......again!
Strictly week 2 No Brucie on the show tonight, A bit of a relief for me! Loved Claudia and Tess instead, They did a good job for all to see. This was the first time we would vote, And first up were Suzanna & Kev. They did a really great Tango, They certainly went up a rev! Tony & Aliona had the Charleston, Judges gave him a really bad time. They were followed by Natalie & Artem, Their Waltz was really sublime. Nat in gorgeous gown of red, Artem in a velvet coat, I think they’ll take some beating, Around the floor they seemed to float. Karen & Dave’s American Smooth, Was a lot of fun to see. Rachel & Pasha’s Salsa though, Didn’t do much for me! Patrick & Anya’s lively Tango, In red & black they set us aflame. Deborah & Robin’s Cha Cha, Showed us that this girl is game! Vanessa & James’ sentimental Waltz Was a very pleasant surprise. But Julien & Janette’s Lady Ga Ga’s Tango Almost hurt my eyes!! Fiona & Anton did the Cha Cha, The middle was a bit of a mess. Mark & Iveta danced a salsa too, I love these two I guess! Then came a lively Charleston By Sophie & Brendan it was danced, One of the best Charlestons ever Dance of the night, you could see at a glance. Ben & Kristina’s waltz was a bit wooden, Need to let himself go apace. Aljaz & Abbey’s Cha Cha was charming Oh but the look on her face! Ashley & Ola’s American Smooth Was a better dance this week. And now the baby has finally arrived, Up the leaderboard they will creep. So Natalie & Artem are at the top, Sophie creeping up fast Poor Tony & Aliona at the bottom, I wondered how long he would last! I must admit to cheating Couldn’t resist the spoiler thread. So knew Aliona & gentle Tony, Out of the competition they would head. Sunday’s show began with the pros, Another steamy dance, Featuring our lovely Artem, With that sexy, smouldering glance! A recap of the night before, And with suspense, one by one, We found who was through to next week., And who would be finally gone. Julien & Tony in the dance-off, Don’t think it was much of a surprise. Tony’s swing was not enough, One of the most charming guys. The highlights for me this week? Mark & Iveta were a lot of fun. Natalie & Artem’s waltz was sublime. Sophie’s Charleston brilliantly done. And Karen & Hairy Dave’s Tango Was laughingly out of the norm! This coming week is “Luurve Week” Can’t wait to see all perform. |

Brilliant again Seren! Love it!
Does anyone know what cinemas are showing 'last passenger'? I can't see it listed as coming soon in any of the chains I use? |

Had a quick look at the FB page for the film. Somebody asked where we could see it and the reply was 'details very soon'.
