Thanks to everyone for all the comments on the dances over the weekend, I have been a shamefacedly
Strictly part-timer of late in constant catch-up mode. Thanks also to everyone posting Last Passenger stuff. ![]() Agreed with the comments on the fab u lous Rumba, just beautiful, intense, head and shoulders above any other dance, and of course featuring the inevitable chesticles (I always love a black shirt though ). The inevitable and depressing ‘ringer’ comments are around, because in Strictly land some things never change. Also agreed with thinking that Sophie just seemed too casual, too laid back, perfect style for the Charleston but just not ‘oommpphh-ey’ enough. Totally loving Ben , really hoping he can get better because what’s not to love, I will still really love him even if he does a rugby player man-stompy Paso (a la Kenny Logan) , well just about. ![]() Really liked Ashley as well, will be hard to beat and he’s bound to be in for the inevitable Ola lace catsuit week (ie lift-tastic week). Suzanna & Kevin, she loves dancing , he’s very cute and has a wicked, wicked in a good way wicked Artem impression (injury porn –ahoy !) on ITT this evening – you really need to catch it if not seen (yeah, because I'm turning up here being 'ole boosy boots )Interestingly loads of support of Mark & Iveta, however I watched Strictly on Sat night with someone who does dance who reckons he was very flat footed ?? ?? but hey what do I know. Hated Abbey’s socks, too much faffing on the wall (why isn’t Len objecting about faffing yet ?), think I like this partnership but she needs to be a bit less of an old mardy face at times. Julian – please just go away. ![]() Oh and Onesies need to be stopped – just that. Stopped. Like Julian. |

It's probably difficult for him to lift his body weight as easily as others. BIB - I have to confess I'm finding her a bit irritating and hopes she stops sulking...then I can love her again. ![]() Dare I say that I'm liking Julien more than I ever thought I would. He's less screeching than I was expecting. |

Thanks Nina . I'm not getting the Ashley love . He's the best male sleb this year, but the standard is generally poor. I don't think it's just Ola's choreo that puts me off...*perplexed*Quote:

*perplexed at your perplexion*

My perplexion is only that there's a lot of enthusiasm for his dancing (here, judges, generally) and I don't seem to be able to see why . He seems nice enough and I guess I see some potential but can't get further than that. *shrug* - not important

Didn't mean to imply that you were implying, was just being all pedanty about myself.
![]() I think I have a more 'come on my son' vibe about Ashley, a more optimistic view of his potential than you do... a glimmer of hope for the male camp (not discussing Julien here, Ninster). Actually, what I think I like about him is his potential grace...I think he might be very smooth and elegant if he can get his act together. I'd like to think that Ben has true potential but to be honest Kristina does such a good job of bodacious camouflage I'm not 100% sure how much he's progressed. I'm hopeful though.

I think Karen Hardy said much the same. I did think he was better so I hope it wasn't an illusion

Haha! Imagining you swivelly-eyed, sequinned strait-jacketed, summoning gargantuan effort to slur out suitable Carrie expletives.

Yep, like is probably a better term. I want to like them too but do we think that Aljaz probably finds Abbey a bit princessy? I'm probably being influenced by the ITT VTs but he did seem to holding a lot of pent-up frustration behind his clenched teeth. ![]() Quote:

Love the description of Kristina's bodacious camoflage and expect to see it forcibly employed in an ArgentineTango near you soon.

But we need Brody back to deflect from the Twilight-ims of the Dana story line, although radicalised........ I like the thinking ![]() Enjoy Bake-Off, some tough judging this week, but I thought a fair result. I need to get out more and stop watching so much tv.
