I asked out on the MF about the one leg thing. It's to show the leg/foot shaping and they only roll one leg up because one is enough! I think it's an affectation myself.
More of a puzzle than a bęte noire though - am always happy to see a well shaped Artem ankle.
Hope you're well peevester - must catch up soon”
Definitely an affectation, although I have to say I'm pretty partial to a bit of Artem calf and ankle myself.

I've asked KevinFromSomeWhereNorthOfWatford on Facebook about the trouser leg thingy, too.

Howdy, Crazy! Hope you're well. Long time no see. Kevin is proving very popular, I think, and not just with the motherly types who want to feed him up and make sure he wears a scarf when it's nippy outside. He will never beat Artem in a chesticles race, but geeky glasses are all the rage (my daughter has just bought a pair with plain glass "because they're cool"

) so he appeals to a wide age range. His sense of humour is infectious, too - not just with the brilliant Artem impression - he was very quick with that 'two minute Kevin' riposte on Saturday.
Sorry, all this gushing about Kevin prolly doesn't belong on the Kartem appreciation thread...
