This is a weird tweet from Artem. Not sure if he meant a sad smillie He's used a semi colon so maybe he meant it as a good wink?

artemchigvintse: Blackpool lots of memories ;(

Maybe it's because:-

a) he met his wife in Blackpool (or so I've read)
b) Kara nearly took his head off
c) Len only scored them a 6 for the most amazing, creative, romantic dance ever
d) he missed his opportunity to meet me last year by failing to come to the stage door

Who knows!

Thanks for the tweet Wrenny.

Hi Anam

If I get the chance, I'll ask !

I just noticed today when playing my zumba dvd that the female instructor also has one trouser leg rolled up. I wonder if it's an American habit?

I hope that those attending the final shows this past weekend in Sheffield and Leeds had a great time .

I have to admit that I was tempted to go to Leeds to see the show again but the train fare was ridiculously high and eventually sense prevailed .

Looking forward to hearing reports. I guess that Artem will soon be off to the USA to once again await his visa. Good luck to him!

Hi Anam BIB If you click on the link in the particular tweet and then go to the top of the page and copy the photo's url and then paste it in your post, that should work. That's how I have to do it now. It used to work they way you were doing it but not now. Hope that helps. xx

Here's the tweet I think.

Hi Crazy. We nearly gave in for Southampton didn't we, but no cheap tickets and RL got in the way. I'm glad I went to see it in Bristol though.

Hi wrenny thanksfor supplying all these goodies. Richard curwen seems to have a very soft spot for Artem.
I hope the last show goers enjoyed the performance last night.

French house is getting close to near completion. We have painted most of it, racing to keep ahead of floor layers and can have a couple of days off. We watched our barn/garage get erected today, by a couple of men and a small crane. Electricity goes on on Friday and possibly mains drains and water, which will allow us to camp in it. Next stage is putting together the ikea kitchen, while the various builders are on holiday. It is a good thing as OH started a cake tradition while I was away and they have come to expect it. Today there were 6 carpenters, a tiler and a door hanger and French cakes aren't cheap
I lurk a lot but Internet difficult at the marina so don't post much.
So I will sign off with a cucumber as recompense

Had to delete your cucumber to

at the thought of your carpenters

Glad to hear the end is in sight...it will have been worth all those cakes!

The last night of 'Strictly Confidential' was just fab. It was clearly an emotional night for all the performers, Artem, Lisa and Natalie were in tears at the end and there were frequent references to it being the last night. As usual, I couldn't take my eyes off Artem but Natalie was amazing too. It doesn't matter who she partners, I thought the paso with Ian and Artem was the highlight of the show. I couldn't believe how little Lisa danced but clearly as Artem was smiling all the time, he did enjoy dancing with her.
I wasn't over impressed with the two blond, young female dancers although one of them raised her game when she danced with Artem.

Other random comments/ news
Craig R-H was there looking very slim, young and dapper.
Apparently there will be more 'Strictly Confidentials' in the next few years, I assume with a different cast.
Ian seems to have come a long way since the start of the tour. Early reports indicated he stumbled over his monologues but he was very confident; he also signed lots of programmes at the beginning.
Natalie was so lovely, so unassuming and was so pleased her parents were there.
Lisa was pleased to be back in Leeds, her Emmerdale stomping ground. She has many work opportunities now she said. All the questions were about her, so no chance to ask about Artem's rolled up trouser leg
I didn't stay to see all the dancers at the end. I'd waited 30 mins but knew OH would be getting grumpy. ML did though!

But a great show, especially Artem and I'm back at the theatre tomorrow night this time with OH, a massive Flavia fan, for one of the last performances of 'Midnight Tango'. It's a hard life!

Thanks Lateone

If you haven't already asked Suzie for her clips you should, especially now you have seen the show. Whilst nothing beats seeing the live performance it's a perfect keepsake of a great show,

You have more to look forward to. Midnight Tango is great. Flavia is the one to watch, simply amazing.

A great collection of Arty pics, thanks Wrenny (and Richard!)

(and thanks for the tip, one day I'll get it right)

Will pop back to read ML's report.
You're very welcome. I'd post a couple and then RichardBBC would keep putting more on twitter!

Hi lateone! Thanks for a lovely report. It sounds like the last show was very emotional. Glad you got to see it. I guess it will be time soon for Artem and the rest of the Pros to start working on routines for SCD! Hope he gets his Visa sorted out ok (digits crossed).

Well there is nothing like a live show.
Thanks to your reports it was helpful to know a bit about what was and probably wasn't scripted. As late one said, when Lisa announced it was the final show of the tour and the others introduced themselves there was a touch of emotion. Artem particularly, when he spoke Kara and of falling in love. Big Ahhhh.

When I bought my ticket (last minute as usual) there were only restricted views left in the dress circle. But I was really lucky and had a full view of the stage, though not so near as Lateone who was in the stalls.

After the show we headed for the stage door and manged to get in the first half dozen in a queue of about 50. Craig was the first to come out and had a quick smile and wave to everyone while he had a fag. He is so much slimmer than when I saw him on the tour dancing with Ann, and looked much younger. He was very charming and relaxed.
Then we had a L O N G wait. Unfortunately lateone couldn't stay any longer
Eventually, Ian came and worked his way down the queue and said not to worry everyone was coming out.
So we w a i t e d again, and Lisa came out, very chatty and open with everyone.
Eventually and I do mean eventually Artem appeared, somehow I had made my way near the head of the queue but was conscious of how long everyone had waited (and there were a lot of everyones) so we had a brief chat and hug and I didn't even think of the rolled up trouser question. So, we will have to save that for another time!
All I can say is , it was worth the wait he is an outstanding dancer. But I think you all knew that

Thanks to everyone for their reports I don't intend to miss the next get together
