Great to hear Kara was at the O2 . Just heard DVO on the radio (talking about her one woman show). When asked she was doing next, she said she'd like to extend the show and then, later in the year there'd be the thing she's developing with Kimberley and Kara. She described it as a 'spectacular dance show' . Not new information, obviously, but I think the more they mention it publicly, the more likely it is to happen .

Hmm, Soupy not sure what to make of this. Her show runs until 19th March. It didn't get a great review in Leeds but if it does extend to say the summer I wonder how she will manage to plan and rehearse a new show?
I find her somewhat disingenuous at times eg she said in an interview for the BBC local news programme plugging her show that shed been with the Strictly tour to Leeds last year when it wasn't at the Leeds Arena last year!

I get a kick-out-of-fact, that she refers to him "as the Russian hunk and they're just going to dance...aren't they?" Little do each of them know what's about to happen!!! (Fall in love)
I think "the phone" she is referring to is Joe Swash's. She saw something on it that he didn't want her to see.
And that was the end of that!!

Just saw Alistair McGowan on telly talking about the touring production of Pymalion. I had wondered if Kara was to be involved (it comes to a theatre near me ), but sadly not. Can't remember who is to play Eliza, but it isn't Kara. Hope she has other irons in the fire.

It's a pity she's not playing Eliza she was so good when she did, and had great reviews. She maybe has something else that would clash. Would like to think so anyway.

Too bad that Kara isn't doing the Pygmalion tour. She was excellent as Eliza Doolittle. I hope that she has something even more exciting coming up so that we all have an excuse to meet up again at Cafe Koha. I did exactly the same thing C4K and thought the same thing, I tried to copy the link over but failed and gave up
. Glad the winds have died a bit. Forecast in Brittany is for a better week, and it feels as if the weather might have turned a corner. Fingers crossed for the uk as well.I have had a load of bird friendly, hedge plants delivered so need good weather to get them in. TBH I am hoping the birds will share the fruit with me, and the squirrels don't take all the nuts. There are only red squirrels here
and not many of them, so all should be well on the nut front. The main problem is a group of 3 deer who wander through and eat young trees. We have lots of hunters round here and I haven't seen them since Christmas. Torn between relief that they won't eat the bushes and keeping fingers crossed that they will be back.
Have seen a suggestion that mixing egg (rotten if possible) with water and spraying the plants keeps deer at bay. Enough of the gardening bulletin, have a good week everyone.
