Hi all.
OS amazing photos, thankyou for sharing them. Earlier this evening I spoke to my 94 yr old mother who was very sad as she had been to her best friend's cremation today and we had a long conversation about how the spirit of a person lives on. Afterwards I meant to look for something appropriate to send her and you and Bethan provided it without me trying ---thank you.
What strikes me is how the natural world is infinitely more beautiful than anything we humans can create. Fireworks or feu d'artifice as they are called in France eat your heart out

I'm with you about being pleased for Artem with the news about DWTS. I think it's a shame that it's now only one show but I think that just goes to prove that two seasons a year can be a bit much for the audience. It loses it's "event" appeal imho. I know that SCD now ties into my Xmas planning. If I haven't bought all my pressies by the semi-final I start to panic

BIB ...You do know that it's still 2 DWTS Seasons per year, don't you? (So far). Last Season it was cut to one night a week instead of two. Dances and results are all being done on Monday nights now. Where before, Pros and celebs danced on Monday and results and guest singers and/or dancers on Tues. nights.

Very mixed day here with violent hail storms one minute and sparklingly bright sun the next. Sun showed up dirty windows and ended up cleaning them.

Listened to Kara with Eamon this morning courtesy of link on Artems fan page plus they have a couple of nice pictures. I need her to,tell me how she stays so slim in spite of her chocolate addiction !
I've never had my eyebrows done professionally so have decided to support her by popping along to Debenhams. Will let you know how I get on. Any one else on here joining me ?

To my shame I have booked into my local French lady to have my "sourcils" sorted tomorrow.
Am back in the uk next week so should have waited, though am doing a whistle stop tour of friends and family, so little time for a trip to debenhams.

I love Inspector Morse and Lewis, although they give the impression that we have lots of murders in Oxford (which we don't). I hope Kara has a major role. Each episode of Lewis is like a film so well done Kara.
