Hello everyone. Well that's a pain isn't it?! Perhaps we need a reunion.....where IS Peeve? We were just reminiscing with friends on the annual island visit to Papay about the reunion in London I attended with Mr OrkneySarah......

I think he will return to the UK when it's possible! Here's hoping.

Feeling a bit nostalgic, so here are some reminders of Artems brilliant choreography!

Kara and Artem's VW (Sublime and beautiful choreo. One time when I'm in complete agreement with Len)

Holly and Artem's Jive (I know he was injured, I was there in the studio, but I loved this Jive, so different)

Natalie and Artem's AS (final) I was so worried about the song choice for this dance, but I was won over in the end. Wonderful wafting Artem!

Ahem...........I've not included any of Fartems!

Such sad news. SCD just won't be the same without Artem. He is a true artist and I have so enjoyed his sublime dancing and innovative choreography.

I hope he gets a proper job on DWTS because that dance troupe seemed to me to be a bit of a waste of time. I think there was only one Macy's dance that I saw that looked good. There seem to be some very big egos and personalities already on DWTS so I hope there is room for Artem and some appreciation for his talents.

Perhaps he was at risk of losing his green card because he spent so much time outside the USA. I'm sure that immigration in the USA is as tight or even tighter than here in the UK. Good luck to him in sorting out US citizenship and I hope that he comes back to SCD sometime in the future.

As a result of the magical partnership of Kara & Artem I've discovered so many things. Before December 2010 I had never watched a YouTube clip or read a tweet or looked at Digital Spy. It's been such an education . Thanks to K&A I also started attending the live SCD tour and visited Glasgow and Belfast for the first time and ventured as far as Cardiff to see DTTM. Most importantly, I met some really lovely people on this thread and have very much enjoyed the various get togethers over the years.

Thanks to SCD and events that followed I've been able to discover what a lovely person Kara is (nothing like Dawn on Eastenders). I'll continue to support Kara and wish her great success in her acting ventures. We have an episode of Lewis and Mr Selfridge to look forward to. Peeve, maybe a reunion at Selfridges in London .

Been busy all day so have only opened my I pad and oh me ...have read what every one has had to,say and agree with all the comments and feelings expressed .
Joined this forum due to the pink /white rumba .Got carried away by the dance partnership and totally carried away by the love story ..an Incurable romantic .

Meeting Kara And Artem during the DTTM tour was a high light for me .Being part of this happy forum and feeling I have "known"you all has been an experience I'd never have known but for our lovely couple . Hope they both go on to have happy lives
together or other wise . So sad to hear the news but so happy to have been part of it.

So very sad that Artem isn't returning to SCD but wish him all the best in the future, We don't know what the relationship between Kara and Artem is and of course it's entirely their own business but if it's over all I can say is It's better to have loved and lost than never loved at all. I shall look forward to following Kara's career and hopefully see her in any future play she is in and perhaps meet up with any peeps that might be there too

What to say that others haven't said. Having only really got hooked on strictly since Kartem, I will miss him terribly.
However he has been walking a very thin immigration line and I can totally understand his wish to obtain US citizenship.
I helped with the vote counting at our local villages Euro elections, and watched with dismay as the Front National's votes almost topped the vote in our relatively left wing community.

I said it earlier but this thread has been a very positive part of my life over the past 3+ years. So thank you Kara and Artem and thank you to all you wonderful fellow posters.

I have to say I am so disappointed that Artem wont be on Strictly this year, his talent will be missed,Hopefully we will still get to see him as a pro on DWTS.
It sounds to me like he is being sensible and has a long term plan in mind......so I hope all of his plans come to fruition .
Whatever is going on between Kara and Artem ,I hope they have minimal press intrusion .

Great post Clarty. Have to admit this somewhat traumatic footy season has been a distraction from the thread (about which I am suitably ) and before you ask it wasn't me with a plane over OT.

Sigh.......at least Artem's teeth are now in a land that will truely appreciate their full force and magnifique-ness..... but the Strictly glitter ball just lost a few sparkles.

Heard the news a few hours ago and was shocked but then I thought "why am I surprised" change does happen, and really life is like a continuum of change. It's a shame that DWTS isn't on Sky.
