One of the Hairy Bikers, Fiona Fullerton and Abbey Clancy (I had to google her) are three almost definites with other rumours like Teri Hatcher in the offing. If you go back a few pages on there, 21st CenturyBoy made up a complete list of possible celebs from newspaper articles etc and refusals which was useful.

The summer is flying by, thanks in part to the gorgeous weather. That said, Autumn is my favourite season and, you know me, I can't wait for SCD to start. Must confess I'm not too enamoured with these rumours. Google is my friend too so must go search

I guess it's only around 30 or 40 days until the launch show which is an exciting prospect. I'm hoping we'll get some better rumours soon. Anneka Rice was one and I'd love to see her do it!

Wrenny, thanks for the link. I registered for the draw for tickets to the premiere show the following day rather than the red carpet event. No idea how one gets to Elstree Film Studios but will worry about that if by some miracle I get a ticket. Less than a month to the first show!!!

(Wingi, I saw you speculating OutSide that Emma Slater might have been dropped (or have dropped out) from the pro line-up. Not sure what to think ***Intrigue!***).

I don't think she will have been dropped by BBC as they had posted it on the blog in June. If she is definitely not doing SCD, I think it will have been her choice - probably to stay in LA as she seems pretty settled there. I'd wondered all along why she hadn't reacted with excitement on twitter like the other 3 did and then saw she was missing from the blog this morning.

Aliona had made some pretty cryptic tweets at the time....... and then there's Anya who seems to be staying with Iveta this weekend........ Oooooh!

You're right about Emma's twitter. Not a single mention of Strictly that I could see.
(If Aliona was brought back, I would laugh! A lot! .....don't think it would actually happen, btw ).

I'd never heard of Sophie (though that doesn't always mean much as I didn't know who Alesha was and had hardly heard of Kara either). I don't watch Corrie so don't know Natalie and the other ladies I'm not mad about so far.

One of the rumours was Anneka Rice which would be great IMO, but it's all gone quiet with regard to her.

It's strange that there haven't been many male rumours. Only Dave Myers is it? One of the hairy bikers.

BIB I wouldn't write her off completely yet as apparently there was a wink smillie in her tweet at the time and then she deleted it. So who knows............she might still be in the running.

I'm completely with you Crazy! I really couldn't see their personalities working together at all. Artem is due a decent partner IMO.
