Morning Swoonies, still here Thanks for all the Artem goodies, its a shame about Kara/Artem split but thats life, hopefully it is amicable.

Baka is looking forward to the show, we have recently moved again, this time to Cumbria, hubby felt unhappy in a divided Scotland as it brought back memories of unrest from his younger days. The new house is much bigger than before though unfortunately no Granny-flat, so I'm having to share a Kitchen at the moment, hopefully we will install her own soon.

Is there any way to watch DWTS as I can't wait to see Artem in his new surroundings. Also looking forward to Strictly this year as work is much more manageable at the moment

Knocks on glittery Kartem door to say hellloooooo for this year's Strictly !!!

I know nothing of radio 1 dj's (being a 6 music gal) but thanks for the inside note on Scott, Joanne seems to be an ideal pairing for him. Is Bakka still watching, fuming, shouting ????

And just so I know that all is well in Strictly DS land there's even a good old thread on the main page about Aliona being rude - it's like nothing ever changed
Waves to nina, Baka raring to go, Scott is really lovely so I hope he manages a few weeks. Aliona being rude, it's like the good old days, hopefully Artem can be just as Rubbish in the US as here

Kara Tointon goes hand-in-hand with mystery man for the first time http://dailym.ai/1sRpC15
Look familiar?

On and off stage drama! Daniel Radcliffe is oblivious as he exits the theatre moments after ... http://dailym.ai/16wuddA

Tipi I wondered if you would show up, it is fitting that the superest of sleuths should come up with the apparent evidence that Kara and Artem have decided to go their separate ways,

Not sure which emoticons to use, So I will do a melange

I think we need a group hug
Always believed they had split since end of last years SCD but Kara not going to states at all this summer and then Artem signing to DWTS confirmed it for me. Not surprised Kara is dating again, she is a good looking girl and a lovely person to boot so it was bound to happen . It's sad but such is life. I hope they are both happy on whatever they do and will support them both always.

Speaking of support, am very excited to see Artem and Lea dance on dwts
should be good!!!

Ah, well. I guess one of them was going to move on sooner or later. Wonder who he is....
(The fashion for excessive beardiness is so frustrating when you want to get a really good look at someone )

Nice to see you here Tipi . Would you be supporting Team Ireland this year, at all, at all?
To be sure, to be sure and probably someone else too, not sure who yet though

Strike a light Tipi! You're the Chloe O'Brian of DS!!!! (do you have some bonkers Jack Bauer-esque facial recognition software??? ).

The stage door for the Wyndhams opens up into the same alleyway as the theatre Daniel Radcliffe was playing at when Kara was in Relatively Speaking. Crikey.

(......and there's Cafe Koha in the background of one of the photos )

My goodness Tipi. Did you use all the resources of MI5 to look for the guy.
Wanted: bearded man, tattoo on calf, often wears shorts and shoes with no socks.

I have been on and off this place, always surprised that lovely peeps kept it going, always very thankful indeed, but what I've woken up to this morning is beyond belief! Tipi you're a scary person, you know And we all love ya to bits. What you did there brought a very broad smile to my face
So, ready for the next season! I'm wondering what the next season will bring
'See ' you all once it gets started for real.
Have a lovely day everyone!

If you go to Facebook on Artem Chigvintsev Fans page all Artems dances on DWTS will be on there.

Yay Tipster! Not unexpected. My gut feeling is that they've parted amicably. I hope so anyway. That's an awful lot of beard! My OH has one but not of triffid proportions!

Morning Meg, I hope you'll give us snippets of Baka's thoughts on the show. She's priceless! Re Artem on DWTS, I expect we'll get YT links in here. (Edit: I see that has happened already below)

BIB This! How the chuffing heck did you find that out Tipster???

Slightly longer version of Lea and Artem here (with the pre-VT/training and a glimpse of Kara and Artem lifting the glitterball ).

Thought they looked really, really good and Carrie Ann is right - they make a good team. Great comments from all the judges. Yay!

Watching the show.....
I haven't experimented with the proxy-whatsits yet, so can't advise, but in the meantime the YT channel for the above clip has always been a reliable source and worth book-marking. They upload in good quality, quite quickly and you can usually stitch the whole show together from their clips if you know the running order (I look at wiki). If I have time later (and my computer stops playing up), I'll post links.

If anyone wants to watch the clips on abc.go.com, the easiest way is to download the Hola extension for Google Chrome. You simply click the flame icon, enter the site url in the extension (here's a screencap if you're unsure) and it'll trick the site into thinking you're from the US. You can't watch live episodes, as you need to sign in with your ISP information for that, but you can watch everything else.

Back in France after 10 days in England with family, lovely walking and swimming on Gower as well as usual allotment duties with my mother.
Got home to a year's supply of overgrown gherkins and courgettes. OH said he couldn't see any. His punishment is stuffed marrow for a month

Lots of Artem action in this segment of the results show. Blimey! (The sound is very tinny - might just be my laptop)

(So much screaming and yelping from the audience. Aargh!)
