A lot of people like Dexter because he is more interesting and complex than the other housemates.

People generally tend to gravitate towards the underdogs, which are Dexter and Gina. It's boring to see all the housemates gang up on them and the public evict them as well. It's more interesting if the house is shaken up and someone unexpected gets evicted like Jemima.

I'm glad they've made it 3 up each week. This means Gina will survive.
