After becoming increasingly angry with my Samsung Galaxy Ace's internal storage a few months ago, I went down this whole rooting thing to try to delete some system apps. Didn't work and actually seemed to make things worse. It was running so badly last week that I did a complete reinstall. It didn't seem to work very well, as it didn't remove all of my data, and I still have the problem now that I can't remove the rooting software - superuser, from my apps. I downloaded something called Ginger which is supposed to unroot but I don't know if it's worked, as the Superuser app is still there and cannot be deleted.

Couple of other issues. When I was rearranging my apps after the reinstall, I accidentally dropped an app onto the 4 icon menu at the bottom of my desktop, and now it cannot be removed.

And in the gallery app, the icons for the photos are already set at an angle, as if you're tilting the phone, but it's flat in your hand or on a counter top.

Help? Thanks.
