Was reading that the prosecutors in the Oscar Pistorius case were seeking to get Apple to unlock his iPhone as he claims he's forgotten the PIN.

Is there not commercially available software to do this or would you really have to turn to Apple for help?

iTunes can backup an iPhone to PC - and I did not think it cared about the IOS user-set PIN when doing this!

If they mean the SIM PIN this is much more secure - but I am sure that government agencies can get around even it!
