Chris Brown charged with Hit & Run
Chris Brown has been charged with criminal hit-and-run ... TMZ has learned.
We've learned the L.A. City Attorney has filed 2 criminal charges against Brown, in connection with a minor accident last month where Chris rear-ended a Mercedes and allegedly refused to fork over his driver's license number and gave bogus insurance info and then left the scene. The City Attorney has charged Chris with hit-and-run -- for leaving the scene without exchanging proper information. He's also been charged with the crime of driving without a valid license. The crimes are punishable by a maximum of 6 months in jail for each offense. We've also learned the City Attorney will refer the matter to the L.A. County D.A. for a possible probation violation in the Rihanna beating case. Worst case scenario -- if the judge in that case concludes Chris broke the law and thereby violated his probation, he could be sentenced to prison for 4 years. http://www.tmz.com/2013/06/25/chris-...ation-rihanna/ |

This is sort of unfair. There are pictures of him getting out of the car and talking to the person he hit. Neither of the cars had any damage. This seems like a bit of lets pick on the wild cannon Chris Brown. I'm not normally on his side, but this seem like bullying and I see why he's angry. Why would he give her wrong information with the non-discreet paparazzi taking pictures?

*If* it's true that he doesn't have a valid licence though then that needs to be dealt with.
I can't understand these stars driving around with no licences etc surely with all their money and aides they could get these things sorted |

Yes because a woman beater has a right not to be bullied... he's scum, pure and simple.
Although, if it is true, send his ass to prison for breaking the law yet again. |

As a celebrity with a lot of cash, where is the need to 'drive without a license'? What about doing a test or hiring a driver?
If he's trying to prove his gangsta credentials by being an outlaw he'll have to do better than this. Beating a woman, driving unlicensed and leaving the scene ... Hopefully he'll get a good stretch inside. In both senses of the word.
