The launch was fine, except for the usual silly bit where they pretend they find the key and act excited. The worrying thing is some of the American audience will actually believe that that is when they actually found out they were on the show.

Yes, I hate that bit. It's like, so handy they had the cameras there when they magically find their key.

This series looks so good, I'm so glad they've extended it and introduced such significant twists for the first time. It'll be interesting to see how it all pans out, but I can't imagine the secret MVP will stay secret for too long. Unless the housemate chosen throws a few curveballs in there, it'll be obvious to those clued up won't it?

Annoying that they've cast all the females by their looks yet again, though I like Candice and Aaryn. Kaitlyn seems like she's going to be a real bitch, and I don't think I could handle Ginamarie for ninety days! Of the boys, Nick is clearly desperate to be the new Dan Gheesling, but I like his confidence none-the-less. Howard seems like the most sound housemate, he could go right to the end just on being liked by everyone - there again his strengths are abundantly clear and he could be labelled a threat early on.

I don't want the same HG getting the MVP week after week so hope that doesn't happen. Towards the end as the numbers reduce it could become more obvious who might be picking the extra nominated HG. It's an interesting way of getting the public involved more, not to the extent of directly saving a HG but giving someone an advantage. It does reduce the power of HoH a lot, I think that power may have needed reducing though this might be too much.

I like three up for nomination as it gives more potential gameplay, just like 3 up in the public vote BB is more interesting.
