Myles was as culpable for the failure of this task as I've ever seen any single candidate be in any episode of The Apprentice.
That Sugar suddenly made it about Alex's inexperience rather than the task suggests to me that Myles will be in the final.

Not keen on him myself, and his constant references to Monaco/celebrities/glamour/etc makes me thing that he's actually hiding his true upbringing as a Harold Steptoe-esque son of a rag and bone man.

I haven't seen all this series admittedly but i've not noticed "constant" anything - it can't be that bad surely?

Shame he and alex were on the same team as i like them both but I suppose if shuggs was desperate too keep him in he'd have found an excuse for mixing up the teams

Sugar doesn't need an excuse for mixing up the teams - he just does it when he sees fit.

I think Myles should have gone. The concept was what lost them the task and it was all his.

He's made some pretty bad decisions on earlier tasks too - sitting about for over an hour waiting for a flag in Dubai and offering to waste ages putting batteries in cats. I don't see any reason he's worth keeping really.

Alex had zero ability...he was useless...so capricious and naive...if he didn't like Myles's idea, then he should have done something about it as pm! And not to mention that he was in the studio with Myles the whole time, was none of the packaging his fault too? That giant skull on the pack was silly but was that really JUST Myles's fault? No, the PM Alex was there and did nothing.

Alex did nothing this week, everyone else in his team pitched, branded or cooked...he did nothing...he contributed nothing...Myles was right Alex is a good listener but that's just about it. Over the past 9 weeks, he's shown nothing!

I like Myles, just because he offers something a bit different to the usual candidates, but I completely agree! He made the stupid decision early on with the batteries, he wasted time waiting for the flag, he wasn't great on the caravan task, and he completely picked the wrong audience for his food packaging. I can see where he was going with the idea of course, and it had the potential to work, so you would assume for an educated experienced professional he would have recognised he needed to target those actually buying the food, the parents, in the equation more. Putting a skull on childrens food packaging was completely wrong, and not focusing on as Jordan (who I actually really don't like) did a dual marketing campaign, or some way of boasting the benefits of the meal to parents.

'Nothing' is going way too far.
I think Alex has proven to be one of the most active contributors throughout the entire process.
For such a young, forceful man he got a very complimentary edit each week, all the other candidates seemed to be fond of him, and Sugar seemed very hesitant to fire him.

It's obvious now it's getting down to the wire that the business plans were holding much more weight in the boardroom and Alex's lack of clear direction made Sugar fearful of going into business with him.
Without that I think Alex was set for a final 2 placing.
