Leah and her boardroom rant

I don't get where the notion that Leah is so quiet came from. I seem to remember her being very vocal with Zee and getting a rough time on the show for not following her initial instinct of going to the mall off Lord Sugar. I think as a PM she took the sticking to the gut instinct notion too far and was a poor PM.
She's been quite strong on sales from what I've seen too. She came the closest to selling the camper van (was it?) out of the guys.
I don't think she's a winner, she's not totally outstanding but she has her positives with her negatives and at the moment merits her place. I feel like Francesca, Myles (up until this week) and Jordan (again until this week) have not been seen to be as vocal and do as much in the process.
It seemed like LS isn't keen on her though and her days are numbered but I think the stick she comes in for is unfair at times.

I thought she made a good case for herself although I don't agree she's been consistent. she's actually been quite inconsistent IMO.
however the variety of tasks & other candidates would make it pretty difficult for most people to be brilliant every week.

However I think she stepped out of line when rubbishing Alex's business plan. she might have a point but it wasn't her place. I think she's clever & beautiful, but rather unpleasant.

I agree with the part in bold, but not the other bit, she has been inconsistent, but I don't think she made a good case for herself. If she'd been asking for a pay rise, the bald statements she was making were no good. You have to actually list your achievements, or back up the characteristics you assign yourself with examples. Since she completely undermined Zee, I can't think of an occasion where Leah has shown positive qualities. She has made good assessments when judging other people's bad ideas, but hasn't thrown anything into the ring herself. The only thing we've seen her praised for is 'almost' selling a caravan, which is the same as NOT selling a caravan, altho I like the point made above that the good food in this task may have been down to her but it hasn't been acknowledged. She seems to be one of the candidates the others don't listen to, evidenced by Myles surprise that she actually had something to say for herself. I think she still has the ability to turn it round, esp in such a weak field, but she has to add something rather than just snipe; Alex was also a sniper, but would throw his own ideas in at times as well.

I think her business plan may be lucrative, but not something Sugar will go for; generally he has shown himself to be a man who prefers products to services (although you could argue Ricky's recruitment is a service, it still sells the commodity of manpower) and I also think he'll be ethically squeamish about investing in cosmetic procedures. I think she could make the interview, then be first to go on the basis it's not for him - like telemarketing.

Totally agree with all you said about her. You've perfectly summarised my collection of past posts about Leah. However I was referring to her business plan. she seemed quite credible. I suspect she will do well whether Lord Sugar backs her or not.

Ahh well that's ok. You've summed up nicely for both of us. You've done a fine job there without even trying. Thanks
