This. I'm not saying it was necessarily a good brand name, but it wasn't bad just because it was in Welsh and a lot of people don't speak Welsh. A lot of people don't speak Latin, but a lot of brand names are in Latin.

When I heard him say Popty Ping I didn't even realise he was speaking Welsh, I thought he was just making a microwave sound.

I thought "Popty Ping" was actually quite a good brand name, forget its the welsh for "microwave" its a nice child friendly word.

Why not? It would still be up to me to decide which lawyer to engage. My impression is he's only acting as an agent, putting people in touch with lawyers with the right expertise. That doesn't require legal training, any more than you would need legal training to find your own lawyer..

Of course Branson and Sugar moved on after success in their first ventures. My point was they weren't experts in their first ventures, let alone the subsequent ones. No different to Alex in that respect. By the sound of it he made money selling memorials, etc, so why not then move on and expand in another business direction?
