Yes I realise that. However the final task could be filmed much later, there is plenty of spare time. Still, all will be revealed shortly.

Back when the prize was a job, the final task rarely had much to do with it. Nor do any of the other tasks. They are more generic than that.

He's investing in a person, not a business plan. The business plan is just another way of assessing the person. Lord Sugar will happily give the prize to a candidate at the same time as rejecting that candidate's business plan. He's done it before. (He's also invested in losing candidates before.)

How so? It's surely no different to when the prize was a job. The winner will be decided by subjective measures; it won't be something objectively quantifiable like profit. The winner won't know they've won until the week of broadcast, as usual.

It's the same as the other tasks: a way for the candidates to demonstrate their talent.
