I noticed the candidates have been big on getting their opponents 'evicted' this year.

Luisa probably the biggest exponent of this year.

However you have had the get Natalie out tactics as well

I think it was more like Big Brother in Series 3. We had Katie's relationship with Paul, and her ongoing rivalries with Adam and Kristina. I see your point, but I don't think it's as much 'Big Brother' style as Series 3 was.

The Apprentice and Big Brother are both reality TV shows, but they obviously have a very different premise. One is a business competition, the other is a social experiment.

Possibly, but unnoticeably, and it's no fault of the producers, only down to the personalities of some of the candidates.

That is the fault of the producers. If the problem is the personalities of the candidates, then they should have chosen a different group of candidates.

Yes but a lot of people seem to be applying big brother type rules to a dislike of Luisa so you can't it both ways

When you say 'a lot of people' do you mean viewers or other candidates? If you mean viewers, I don't see what the production team or Lord Sugar are supposed to do about that.

A lot of viewers on here whether on other media say why is she still here get her out etc to coin a big brother phrase

She should not win because she is not nice etc.

The reality is she is in the top 2 of the candidates left.

But the vast majority of series have hate-figure strong candidates that the public argue shouldn't win because they're "not nice". The only ones that don't are maybe 5 and 8. It's not really unique to Luisa, or this series.

True - I think there are two types of Apprentice viewers:

For some people at home, they will debate who is the nicest.

For others, they will debate who is the strongest.

This is also true, imo. That tall Irish guy a season or so ago was similar.

True jim probably started the more tactical game for the more recent years of the show

I personally don't see it like that. I see it on who I think does a good job (and also who is honest and has integrity, but that's a secondary concern) - and Luisa is my current favourite. Bright girl.

I don't think she needs a tactical game. The best game, as on Big Brother, is to avoid dangers, to understand the limitations and intentions of those around you, to keep in with enough people, and the key people, and do your best to do well. Luisa has a pretty accurate assessment of all the contenders, as does Leah. The alpha lionesses of the pride just then do what alpha lionesses do - they snarl a bit at other female lions, and bite sillier males. That makes them unpopular with Big Brother viewers who don't like seeing snarling, or their favourite male bitten - but there is no public vote on the Apprentice. This series most people who went deserved their fate, or or had their head bitten off by an alpha male. I think some people who went after week two, were unfortunate to be caught on the wrong team that week, but generally who went has reflected ability.

Can I amend this to just 8? I forgot that Debra existed, to my eternal shame.
