We dont have ESN anymore in UK (associated with analogue, perhaps you mean IMEI) and in any case the law here was changed to make such activity illegal.

However what I can tell you is that its not possible with DCT4 models as they use one time program type chip which means removal and replace of UEM chip, so unless you have £20k's worth of BGA machine and a UEM chip for that model you might find it hard to do.

Thats not to say that its not happening ofcourse.....

nah StevenGray16 it was not stolen.it was a technical problem with the phone itself that should just make free unlimited calls without even having money on the phone.the telephone company notified it because some people query there phones could make free calls without money on it which is stupid anyway so the company blocked it.

im not a phreaker so there isnt much i know about phones as in the esn number or imei or whatever but StevenGray16 can you please elaborate more on getting a UEM chip etc and what else i need to get this done for i need my phone up and running.including that fact that it cant be hooked up with no other telephone company on my island which sucks ass.

Hmm, a mobile phone that makes free unlimited calls with no cost to ANY network? Sounds a bit dodgy to me.....

Was it your phone originally or did you buy it second hand?

As I have already stated, this forum is UK based and changing of IMEi (esn as you put it) is illegal in this country.

I've also given you the details about how hard it is to do this anyway. UEM chips and BGA machines are not tools that most people on the forum will have access to!

Do a search on google for a forum that isnt UK based and you might get the help you need.

No worries.

There are methods by which it is possible to patch flash in nokia phone and hence make imei different, but this is expert activity, (bootloader is encrypted block cipher 8 bytes), and because of law I cant discuss full methods in UK.

Your best option is to find site that programs / replace uem of which there are many around the world.

Good luck
