I certainly wasn't hoping for Kat/Alfie reunion, they are one of the shittiest couple and Kat is soo much better without that annoying twit Alfie.
I couldn't care less about the yawnfest that is Alfie/Roxy, they have zero chemistry and Roxy baby obession is annoying, the fact she calls him 'grandad' and is shagging him is just weird.

As for Ronnie, not excited for her return, hopefully she's still not the same depressing baby mad character.

Awaits Kat's next affair in 2014 or 2015 :yawn: :sleep:. I'm sure Carl will like to pick up where his old mate Derek left off and start bonking Kat behind Alfie's back.

If there's one good thing to come out of the Kat/Alfie 2012 sage, it's that in 2013, we've had a chance to see Kat go back to her roots. I'm loving Kat now. If/when Kat and Alfie get back together, maybe she can stay on the stall? Best of both worlds that way...

Oh I can see this happening, she was already drooling over him when she first saw him. Kat/Alfie will never have a non cheating relationship, Kat 'I'm a dirty girl' Moon is unable to not cheat and Alfie 'doormat/mug' Moon can't help but forgive her :yawn:
I really wish TPTB would stop trying to make out Kat/Alfie are meant to be together or that they are a great love story, more like a crap story.

I hope they stay together now, but ffs get them out of the Vic, and put Sharon back in, and she should buy a poodle and name it Roly who is a regular pet,

The writing for Sharon has been awful I don't think putting her in the vic going to change that imo, however anything better than Alfie/Roxy and Alfie/Kat in the vic.

This will continue to happen until Kat/Alfie leave EE. When they're together the storyliners can think of nothing else with this couple than affairs. I can see it now though, in a shock twist no one saw coming (LN reveals) Alfie does the unthinkable and cheats on Kat. She says 'This is a shocking turn of events that will cause fireworks between this much loved couple, the audience will be on the edge of their seats waiting for Kat to find out'.

I think your predictions could be right, it just seems like something TPTB would come up with and promote it as exciting and the usual 'is this the end for the much loved couple'.
Your right about the cycle of Kat/Alfie, it will continue as long as their on the Square. I can see Roxy getting pregnant with Alfie baby just to shake things up for the Kat/Alfie reunion.

Alfie and Kat's reunion will be one if not the Christmas storyline for this year.

I like Kat and Alfie as a couple. It suprises me how harsh some people are on her. I don't think she's just a serial cheat. She seems to still be very emotionally scarred by what happend to her as a child. It's something she has never fully dealt with. Alfie should have convinced her to get help.

Ronnie is evil? She is a lot of things, but evil is not one of them.

I get a feeling that Ronnie will seek to ignore the restriction order placed on her release, and will persuade Roxy to take her in and put her up at the Vic.

Also stupid Roxy not thinking the hate for Ronnie would be that bad, she swap their baby and replaced it with a dead one, then looked after their son while they grieved for a baby that wasn'ttheirs, how can you not predict that they would hate her.

I used to really like Kat and Alfie back in the day but they've been awful since they returned.
I agree that what happened to Kat as a child emotionally scarred but that's no excuse to keep cheating on her husband. I feel like the writers write these affair storylines then use her past to justify it (with the whole 'I'm dirty speech') rather than this being actually character driven. So basically, the constant affairs are less about Kat's 'emotional scarring' and more about the writers lack of imagination when it comes to her character.

As for Alfie, he's always been a nice guy but he never used to be a doormat like he is now. When Kat slept with Andy, Alfie chucked her out even though she only slept with him once and did it to save Alfie.
This time around, he forgave her for sleeping around time and time again before eventually having enough of it and throwing her out. It's a shame because Alfie is a much better character when he drops the nice guy act and stands up for himself.

Having said all that, I am looking forward to Ronnie's return.
I'm also happy to see Roxy and Alfie split up. They had great chemistry as friends but don't work well as a couple. Plus we all knew a Kat and Alfie reunion was inevitable at some point so it's hard to invest in them as a couple.
