Just noticed that the Samsung Apps has the above app for 3.00 online (3.31 via play store) but if you go into Samsung apps via your handset it is only 1.00, a bargain if anyone is interested.

Tunein is great and i would recommend it to anyone who loves radio. There's a free version, too.

Every so often it comes around regularly are discount prices in most app stores.. I got it on android for 10p when they had a sale on some months back. There isn't a lot of difference between free and pro either. Great program nonetheless.

Does it offer custom bitrates(for smartphones etc) or is that still the domain of the unsung but better Yourmuze?

I had the pro version free on Amazon App Store a few months back, it's something special.

I really love TuneIn, but I find it a horrible UI. I really struggle to navigate, and don't know quite what the various screens are for

I think the difference between free and paid is the paid lets you record. Personally have no need to record myself but good price for those that do

Worth mentioning Blinkbox Music again.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...com.we7.player

Obviously it must be Sony WE7 renamed. A free 'design your own station' app.

Thanks for this. Really good app and for free it's amazing.

Seems it wasn't Sony but in fact Peter Gabriel was we7 and he cut a deal to play Sonys catalogue of music.

Blinkbox/we7 is now owned by Tesco.
