Will these two new families prove to be successful?

To me both Lauren and Therese are stronger characters than their husbands.

Taylor Glockner (Mason) & Harley Bonner (Joshua) are both weak actors in my view.

Its a hard one because having watched the original Brad and Lauren to me they are not the same characters. I would rather have had new characters or at least have a cameo from Pam or Dound or Gaby to have some continunity for long time viewers

Terese is fantastic, love her. The rest are all a bit.. bland so far. Also I'm still annoyed at the way it feels like (to me) that Paul, Vanessa and Lucas have been booted off the street for these two families. And Paul's house is now the worst on the street when it was fine before the makeover.

I like them, except for Lauren, Brad and Mason.

Like them, but the "actors" who play mason and josh are terrible!

I think the families are a great move for the show. On first impression I think the Wilis family is more successful due to the acting skills. Terese is terrific and I really like the new Brad too, I don't care that he's a recast, it has been twenty years. The kids have potential too, esp Imogan.

I really like half of the Turner family - Lauren and Bailey. Amber is getting better too, though I think she looks much older than a school girl which doesn't help. Matt and Mason are the weak links in the household.

The only two characters I like so far really are Lauren and Terese. In a way it's good, 2 more strong older female characters that Neighbours always used to have in abundance. But I'm afraid the rest of them aren't really doing much for me so far. And still continuing my one man hope for the grisly death of Mason. Never have I hated a Neighbours character so much since that annoying dwarf Rick Alessi!!!

Mason, Josh and Cop are crap actors, every scene is like their reading from the autocue there's no emotion or acting involved yet they're shoved down our throats especially Mason.

I don't mind the rest of the Turners/Willis'

Well they obviously went looking for past history they could bring back for drama reasons and settled, for some reason, on the brad and lauren relationship.
(Though, as much as it gives Lou a reason to be in the show, you have to imagine if they were going back that far that perhaps they asked Natalie Imbruglia first. Would get them more attention, anyway. )

Bit of an odd decision as it wasn't one of the shows greatest eras tbh (The Willis' were carted out in favour of the Kennedys and the show had a massive upturn, and I can't even remember what happened to Lauren last time round, which shows how memorable she was )

I'm liking Terese standing up to Paul, not quite sure why her Husband has been cast as seemingly 10 years younger than any of the 4 adults....but yeah, it's not grabbing me as yet.

Looking forwards it seem we've got Competitive Brad, sports Coach, Jealous Lauren and maybe some old fashion neighbours potential unknown incest on the way.
Grate stuff

Harley Bonner is an awful actor, he was only casted as Josh Wilis because he is the son of the brilliant Carla Bonner.

Im sure there must be some better actors in Australia who would be better in the role then Harley.

Poor decision by Neighbours bosses to cast Harley as Josh Willis.

Imogen reminds me of Serena who I wasn't keen on so it's taking me time to warm to her.

She also has an unfeasibly large forehead and high-waisted shorts that were fashionable in 1975 so her acting tends to take a back seat!

I love both families... They are a fab addition to the show and have to say Lauren & Terese are definatly alpha females which the show needs which is brilliant...

The actor who plays Matt isn't the best however im sure this will change as he settles into the role....

Other than that im enjoying the families and the show is the best soap on television at the moment..!! So annoyed if I miss an episode ha ha!!
