Already have Tomb Raider and Deer God looks horrendous.
Still, I suppose we get the 2 360 games using backwards compat from this month, right? |

From Xbox Wire: Quote:
We’re also happy to announce our plan to make all future Xbox 360 Games with Gold titles playable on Xbox One starting when backward compatibility launches in November. This will mean that all Xbox Live Gold members get even more free games to play each month.

I bought Tomb Raider very recently when it was on sale so it stings a bit. Good games though, looking promising for the future.

O great more shotting games how orginal. I think I will give up with Gold in Jan when my year is up.
Over the last few months there have been more non shooter games than games that would be labelled 'shooters'. Pool nation FX Massive Chalice Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag So Many Me Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes(3rd person Stealth/Action) How To Survive: Storm Warning Edition Deer God Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition Just Cause 2 Thief Plants vs. Zombies Gears of War 3 Metro 2033 Metro: Last Light Battlestations: Pacific Crysis 3 It's probably a bit worse if you only own a 360 but its a pretty diverse list for those that own both or own an X1. |

Apologies for the really stupid question, I just want to double check. I'm running out of space on my hard drive almost. Will all my downloaded Gold games stay in my purchase history once I delete them so I can re-download them in future? If they do, does that apply to your saved games digital purchases as well? I'm thinking the Master Chief collection here!

With save data, you get the option to delete that separately to the actual game. So you can delete the game, but just don't delete the save data if you wanna keep it. |

I never knew as a Xbox Gold member I could still reserve games on XBox one despite not owning one yet.
This is kept low profile. I will now start adding those to my list each month

I played Tomb Raider on 360 when it first came out but I was planning on picking up the Definitive Edition for the One for another playthrough ahead of Rise Of The Tomb Raider, so I was delighted when it was announced for GWG in September. Playing it now.

On Xbox 360, starting Thursday, October 1st, Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes ($19.99 ERP) will be free for Xbox Live Gold members through October 15th. Then on October 16th, Xbox Live Gold Members can download The Walking Dead: The Complete First Season ($24.99 ERP) for free through October 31st. Got Valiant hearts already, fantastic little game. I'm pretty sure I have Valiant Hearts on PS4. Would need to check. It's one of the many games that I download and forget about.
I'll probably do the same thing for the X1. Still not played MGS:GZ on X1 (£5) Got both season of TWD on X1 and a couple of free eps from season 1 on 360. I'll download it to get the full season. Bit of a shit month for me. |

The Walking Dead on both consoles, Valiant Hearts a couple of months after PS+ and MGS which has already been free on PS4 and Xbox One.
So one game that's of any use. What a crock. |

Played TWD season 1 but been wanting to play it again so I can play season 3 on the xbox one when it comes out. with my choices. So that's quite handy.
Valiant Hearts is a brilliant game, I loved it. So that's a good deal to those who might not have played it yet. |

This is a cheap move from Microsoft. They are basically setting it up so they don't give away too many games.
Metal Gear Solid V was already part of August's GWG for the 360. Also, what is the point in giving away The Walking Dead on both consoles when the 360 version will be BC ? They should have given the game away on the Xbox One and given us a different game for the 360. Like i said, they are just being cheap. |

Not a very good month for me. I played both Valiant Hearts and Ground Zeroes when they were on PS+ this year. I've played The Walking Dead: Season One on 360 but not Xbox One, so I might get that, but that's about it.
It's a poor month overall in my opinion though. The same game on 360 & One, Ground Zeroes on 360 not long after it was on GWG on Xbox One and a game that's already been on PS+ just a few months ago, so it's basically 3 games instead of the usual 4. Not great.

Personally, I don't see the point of MS releasing games like Tomb Raider
efinitive Edition and Walking Dead S1 as Gold freebies?! Chances are that we've already played these games on the 360 (I know I have) and there is NO difference to them on the X1 (exactly the same game!). ...whats the point?! |
