have they forgotten Marlon is a Dingle , do Lisa and Zak ever interact with his son .....

It is so strange , when Eli was around he had a lot of interaction with the Dingle family especially when Marlon, Eli and Zak tried to free debbie from the prision /hospital ...

If you watched the show recently you would not know he was a Dingle ...

He was at the hospital with Belle this week, wasn't he?

Yes, and now that Laurel's got a sl coming up, no doubt we will see far more of anguished windmill-arms Marlon than most of us want to.

I get the feeling Kate Oates is not a Marlon fan. Or at least not a fan of Laurel and Marlon together, thank God!

They don't seem to show much family interaction on the show tbh.. It's sad.. The same goes for character interaction. Mostly characters just talk to those directly in their own stories

Seriously? I don't think this could be further from the truth.

Idiotic character but I think it'd feel weird without him there, especially in the pub.

I agree 100%! I think they should axe Marlon. He's a pointless filler character who I doubt anyone would miss!

I don't know about you but I'm willing to take that chance just to see him gone.

Yes I've felt this an awful lot.. Direct family yes, but when charity and chastity were with Zak and Lisa, I thought 'wow.. Things are improving'.. Because you just don't tend to get wider family links.

Diane with Debbie etc has been good though as its shown a wider family connection.. Is certainly better than it used to be but not perfect at all

That's a really good point. I know Zak is Marlon's uncle, but Zak and Lisa are the closest to grandparents that baby Leo has. You never hear about Rhona or Paddy's parents.

You never see Dingle gatherings any more do you? I miss that part of Emmerdale... there's still enough of the Dingles really! Zak, Lisa, Belle obviously - but then Sam and Samson - Rachel would be included - Charity, Marlon and Gennie. Zak said there'd be a proper Dingle party when Belle was better but I bet that's been forgotten now...

I don't like how there's never anything going on at the Dingles any more. I used to love the Dingle Court! Maybe time for new Dingles?

Well, there is a possibility of Del coming back having had David's baby. Also, with the upcoming storyline, I'm sure that we'll see baby Kyle again (who should be about 2).

Every word you said I totally agree with!

Have been saying for a very long time now about how the Dingles just aren't this mad loveable, accentric family anymore.. It's brilliant they get dramatic story lines from time to time.. But for them to now be yet another depressive family, when you think back to the wild times they had, is just quite sad really

I would love them to either bring back Cain's mother Faith or bring in parents for Charity .
