I can't think of anyone who didn't know from day one, that it was Roy sleepwalking.

Yet the whole story was dragged out beyond belief. Utterly boring. One of the weakest 'storylines' in Corrie for years.

As is the Norris hiding Emily's cards 'storyline'.

Unbelievable that any scriptwriter can write such dross and for it to get passed.

Yes, me too. Just awful storyline and so very predictable.

Agree, the story's far-fetched and stretched way too thin. I can only think it has some other significance, perhaps prompting Hayley's much-heralded exit in some way. If not... jeez.

I agree. Tbh, I also found the whole stroyline regarding Roys father uttelry boring too. The actor is fantastic but the character of Roy is getting tremendously boring.
I worry about when Haley goes, his character will be very dire sadly!

Thanks for the replies.

Yeah, all this talk of aliens, and ghosts and that.

Corrie often loses the plot - literally.

It was utter shite, wasn't it? How in God's name Haley and Sylvia couldn't hear Roy getting up and banging about the cafe I'll never know. Rank rotten writing.

You know things happen like this happen in real life? Why don't the relatives hear them? Why don't people hear people robbing their house while they are asleep? So it's not totally unrealistic writing

I do think the SL was dragged out a bit. The whole blaming Beth thing was tedious

and get paid for it

why they couldn't have had a serious S/L about MHI defeats me, instead of this toss.

Yep I like Roy, Hayley and Sylvia. Even if its dragging out, they are three great actors so can make up for it. They deserve a storyline and screentime especially building up to
Spoiler

As much as I can say for the likes of Katy or Ryan, who will be making more appearances soon with their "relationship" problems.:sleep::yawn:

It hasn't bothered me, there are worse story lines dragged out for a lot longer than this one and Roy's scenes usually involve Sylvia, so that's something at least. She is hilarious.

The Beth scenes were tedious though.

The Norris passing Frieda's present as his own story was stupid beyond words, like Emily would never speak to her again and neither of them would ever mention it???!!! Now the fat little weirdo is upset that Emily shock horror may leave her house to a member of her family and not him the odd ball lodger that has irritated Emily for years - what dross.

I hadn't tuned in for quite a few months but sat down and watched last nights and couldn't believe what I was seeing. A storyline about sleepwalking? I vowed never to bother watching again. The only other thing going on was the barmaid (Tina) sulking because she gave over a baby that didn't belong to her. I'm pretty sure she wasn't sulking a few months ago when she was getting a fat wedge for the privilege.

Roy has been boring me for months. Wish he'd bugger off when Hayley goes.
