Hi, I've just read about this. A condition that can develope in ponds and inland waters and can have severe effects on the nervous systems of dogs. This has got me worried as my cocker spaniel,Bentley loves the water and always makes a bee line for the brook for a paddle when we go on our walks.
Has anyone heard of this or have had any experience of it please?

There is some more information on this subject here http://www.dogheirs.com/dogheirs/pos...-harm-your-dog and it's predominantly a problem with still/slow flowing water.

Thanks for the reply. The brook is quite fast running so hopefuly should be ok.

I know its been a problem around here in the past, but I'm pretty sure warnings are posted when a lake is contaminated.
