Not managed to hear any of it yet, but I love Melanie C so on that basis alone I'm really looking forward to it. Matt was OK on X Factor, but I haven't really paid much attention to him since. He has a very good voice from what I remember.

Not bad for the painter!

Both their voices are too high for the middle eight though and that spoils it a bit.

Otherwise catchy enough.

Good song, I like it. Lol I thought Matt was singing the second verse at first, Melanie's voice sounded so deep! Catchy song.

what a surprise, its actually pretty good. it does sound a little similar to "rolling in the deep", but credit where credit is due, its much better than i ever could have imagined.

Would be nice if it did well as Melanie C is so underrated nowadays.

She deserves to be (high) in the charts again.

Never be the Same Again was such a tune.

Most 'credible' duet ever

In all seriousness, I think it's OK but nothing special. Sounds like more of an album track to me, rather than a single.

I like it but sadly I don’t think its ‘edgy’ enough for the major radio stations to pick up so will therefore chart lower than deserved. Sadly in this day and age, unless Radio 1 and the similar commercial stations champion it and play it on repeat it won’t do well.

Otherwise a high chart placing relies on a huge fan base, which neither artist has.

Heard it for the first time on Radio 2 this morning on the morning show (the one after Chris Evans ends - forgot the DJ's name - doh!).

I like it. Didn't hear who the singers were but knew instantly the female was Mel C. Such a distinctive voice - in a good way! She was always my favourite Spice Girl, even though that wasn't a popular opinion back in the day!

Think the single should do quite well. It does remind me a bit of When You were Gone (Mel C's duet with Brian Adams). And that's no bad thing - that was a great song.

Retro music is in right now. Just look at daft punks RAM. I think ppl are longing to hear music again with good singers, catchy songs and hq productions instead of the autotuned musicland that has been dominating the charts.

It's always great to hear Melanie's voice, but I'm not so sure about this song. It's too MOR for me. A song doesn't have to be edgy, but it doesn't have to be boring either. You can't really compare this to Daft Punk, they're retro but in an interesting way. This is just very MOR and adult contemporary.

Heard this on Radio 2 earlier without knowing who it was - you can tell Mel C a mile off.

They've got a fantastic harmony and voice match.

The verses are beautifully melodic and promising, but unfortunately, they lead you down a false path into a boring chorus - could have been better.

Im not comparing this music to daft punks. What Im saying is that they got tired of todays music which isnt going anywhere and to me this is a retro song as well.
Just a good ol soft rock tune, a real duet where you actually hear both voices and the acting between them.
On top of that theyve made a terrific lyric video for it.
